Broadcast Collection 1972 - 1997

Cd 1 The mix is very clear. The performance is top notch. Cd 1 by itself is worth the purchase as it captures Ziggy live. Cd 2 suffers a little sound quality wise. A bit Tinny on the high end. The Iggy performance is Red Hot and you can hear Bowies contributions clearly. Good Bass response. Cd3 starts off with NIN's set. which merges into Bowies set. A controversial pairing in concert but everything works to both Nin and Bowie's advantage. Clear recording. Great performance. CD4 continues with Bowie and NIN with a Good helping of tracks from Bowie's Outside release. Greatness. Cd 5 showcases tracks from Bowies 1997 Earthling tour. Fine quality recording. Conclusion - The bulk of this collection captures Bowies performances from some of his more extreme Nin influenced periods. A must for any Bowie collector but for a listener looking for some of Bowies lighter more mainstream friendly performances this might be the wrong stop overall. Overall Sound Quality B+ . Overall Performance quality A.

Excellent condition brilliant track selection superb sound quality the only reason this collection rated four star and not five star is because of the annoying breaks between tracks had it not had these breaks it would defiantly rate five 🌟 shame as I spoilt a really great set of cds

This has to be a bootleg, and if it is - as claimed on the box - licensed from "Entertain Me Ltd" (and I am going to check this claim) then I will be extremely surprised as the quality on offer here is so bad it's best avoided by anybody - not even die hard fans will find anything to like here.Whilst everything on this 5 disc set has already been out on bootlegs in much better quality in the past, what we have here sounds to me like it has been ripped from other CD's by someone who does not know what they are doing as between every single track on every single disc there is a 4 second silence, which oddly enough is the default setting for most rippers using the OS tools.Sound quality is a mixed bunch too - so far I have played them all except the Iggy Pop show, and the gapping is present on everything. Not only that, the disc 5 acoustic material is louder than the Santa Monica Ziggy show!I will be returning my copy for a refund - and I strongly urge anyone considering this to get something else as this is literally a ripoff.Truly awful.
