Pro : Quran and English translation. Con ; font size and book volume
A nice translation of the favorite verses we have been reading since childhood.Since I don't speak Arabic, I didn't knew the meaning of the verses earlier. But when I read the English translation i was able to understand meaning those verses held. Earlier deep down in my heart I knew the beauty of those verses but to read it in English(the language I know) was quite an experience.Recommend it if you are curios and want to relish every verse and its approximate English meaning.Every verse has a English translation in short to its left and a detailed context to the bottom of the page. Though the translation is readable with a font size of 11/12. The context is very small for normal reading it's 8/9. So hence I don't recommend it for people who have poor vision or shall spend abundant time researching further. You folks should buy a copy with bigger font.Also the entire size of the book is enormous. Around 1800 pages in one volume. So not recommended again for researchers who shall use it heavily. It may break down the copy.All in all the binding is pretty great. The look is charming and the price is a bargain.I am very happy with my copy and have pledge to read it for translation once in a while.But for daily reading I would still read Arabic Quran in a bigger font.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali spent 40 years translating and writing commentary of Holy Quran.
A humble request to publishing agency is to increase font size a bit and improve printing Quality.

'It is a guidance to humanity'About the tafseer and commentary, I've found it very interesting.The more you read and ponder, the more depths are unravelled.Must read for everyone.

As for as translation & commentary by ABDULLAH YOUSUF ALI is concerned I find it to be one of the best most balanced & analytical of all the commentaries I have read . I have a suggestion for printers & publishers to please increase the font size & improve the quality of printing I also suggest to change the format to a bigger size & print all the appendices sequentially in the beginning as it will help in better understanding

Excellent in one word
Excellent in one word. I have just started reading this book . The way the book is translated and the additional notes are given, it gives more closer meaning to the Arabic text. Great work by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. The pricing of the book is really minimal compared to the size. A great binding looks really good as well.The side by side Arabic and English translation helps to understand the Suras which normally we use or hear in day to day.Alhamdulillah .

TRUE BEAUTY OF THE HOLY QURAN IN TRUEST FORM
Do i need to say anything for The Holy Quran.. it is indeed a gem.. although i am a Hindu i am purchasing this holy book beacuse i know that God is one... And i believe that this holy book will help me to become a better person and help me to discover my true self.. Allah Hafiz...
