Even better than advertised!!!
I got the 20 lb bag. This is absolutely the cleanest pumice I have ever worked with. Very high quality and will more than likely order again when I need more. Ordered the 20lb bag and actually got 20 lbs. Iโve ordered pumice from Amazon before but those other ones were mostly dust with a lot of debris that needed removing and once the dust and debris were removed half of the product was gone. This makes a wonderful addition to my plant babies this year. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Pumice, the perfect traction sand.
I use pumice on my sidewalks and driveways when winter comes. Scattering house temperature pumice on icy sidewalks causes the ice to melt and the pumice soaks up the water and freezes to the ice. It becomes a layer of sandpaper all winter long. It means no salt will get into my grass or flowers and the pumice residue, when incorporated into the soil, helps my plants out. If I have to blow snow, the pumice will not chip or crack glass

The size is perfect without doing the extra work of sifting
This was the perfect size I was looking for without any sifting. A bit pricey? Sure. But, the convenience and quality of the product is perfect. There is pretty much no dust at all....some on the packaging plastic but when you pour it, nothing. Will buy again when needed.

Nearly Fills a 5gal Bucket
20 Quarts should fill a 5gal bucket with 2-3" of air space at the top, and this does nearly fill the bucket with 3" to spare. The pumice product is 99% clear of foreign rocks/pebbles (Found a few dark gray rocks in my bag). Still, very happy with this product as I haven't been able to find larger quantities anywhere else.

Little big
Pieces of pumice are bigger than expected. I can't get pumice anywhere here in Texas so I ordered. Seems to be good quality, just double the size of any others that I've seen. *UPDATE* The more I use this pumice the less I like it. In all honesty it looks like mothballs!! Not quiet the same size but not too far off I promise you. I'm thinking ๐ค of getting a hammer or some heavy object and try crushing it down to smaller pieces. I can't recommend.

High quality product!
Very good product!. I washed them using a laundry bag and a spray hose. But I didn't realize they were already washed(had to be) because everything was SO CLEAN. Also, the pumice size was very uniform and perfect. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good quality
LIght weight, the stones maybe. The bag, heck no. I bought everything in bulk to make a chunky well draining mix. I hardly use much soil so I didn't want to call it a soil mix with about 6 or so ingredients. First and last time in an apartment. What a learning curve. The first time I didn't do everything outside and I was cleaning airborne particles I never saw take off for six months. Next time I make a day of it outside with a table set up and someone to help me run the plants up and down. Probably close to 100 tropicals so repotting is an all-day deal. When you rent an apartment you rent a storage unit because you need a place to store all this hobby stuff. The pumice was the missing ingredient for a lot of my plants. This is the time of year a lot of my plants tend to go slightly dormant but adding the pumice I actually saw them perk up for a while before the normal slow down in winter. The perlite was not enough alone. Plus I like to fill the very bottom of the pots with the pumice to ensure fast drainage.
