This was a lot less expensive than the ones in major DIY stores, matches the other handles and works well

They look good but the operation is not brilliant. First the spindle is too small for the square hole in the lock, so the tongue will not fully retract. I have packed in strips of plastic to pad out the spindle but it is not terribly effective.Second, after 4 months of use the plastic washer between the handle and the backplate has broken leaving the handle loose. Fortunately I bought a pack of 5 but only have 4 bathrooms/toilets, so had a spare I could use as a replacement.Could do better.

Screws missing

Well.. if the holes don’t line up where the lock is it doesn’t work.. there isn’t anything that can be done either, shame .. if the holes lined up it work have been ok

Lock bar way to long so you have to cut it down which is not at all easy to do as it is cut into a split on the end to fit into locking mechanism

Nice product and generally good quality but very poor screws, two of which sheared when tightened, requiring me to drill out and replace

The biggest problem was putting in as a replacement unit, after a few adjustments to the door and frame, it works fine

Very nice Victorian locking door handle. Looks really great.
