Knorr Sopa Pasta Soup Mix, Star Pasta Tomato 3.5 oz (Pack of 12)

Star pasta in a light tomato base. Boil 4 cups of water, add soup packet, bring back to boil, then turn back to simmer for ten mins. Sometimes I have just turned it off and put a lid on once it resumes a boil. Seems to cook up the pasta just fine.Interesting flavor. Tomato-y with a nice umami flavor. It has depth of flavor. Doesnt taste flat. Pleasant enough on its own, but also begs to be doctored. Maybe add some cheese and a glop of sour cream. Add more seasonings to preference. Or add in some protein. Use as base for soup (add more broth) or whatever sounds good. It really is quite versatile.I am most impressed by the volume. It makes up quite a bit of pasta stars. They dont skimp. Doesnt look like much when first poured into pot, but it cooks up with plenty of volume. For that reason, 5 stars.. and I already plan to buy more. I think it makes a nice pantry item, emergency food item (if you have water and heating source), camping or hiking food (again with heat/water source). Seems long lasting-- nothing to go bad in the packet. Easy to make, and specialize if you want. Reminds me of my childhood.

Love this soup alone or as a starter/base for any other soup recipe you might have.

Made it for the first time and followed the cooking directions on the package. Called for 4 Cups of water, way to much in my opinion. To water ly. Have to cut back on the next one😳🥵
