It’s very solid. Not so heavy that my 4 year old can’t pick it up with ease, but very sturdy.

Well you would be able to see and hear it over Skype. It’s a snow globe so you just shake it and the flakes move around and it plays music. It has several songs and they are pretty loud. It also changes colors.

Does the music play continuous or does it shut off after a short time automatically

Looks super cute , but the music doesn't "wind up" it's either on or off and the volume is super loud!
