As per description

I had been wrapping my shore power cord around a couple of stanchions on my boat, and securing it with a small bungee. It caused a 'knot' in the cord that I didn't think was good for the cord. These clips are the perfect solution. Very satisfied,.. highly recommend!

They work as expected, and are really handy for keeping the deck tighty while at the dock. Speaking for use on a SAILBOAT lifelines, they do slow down the "leaving the dock" process though. Instead of just unplugging and coiling the cord on the dock, you have to remove the clips carefully not to drop them in the drink. If you have a powerboat with a solid rail all the way around this wouldn't be a problem, but on lifelines they basically just hang in place with the help from the weight from the cord.

I own a 1979 S-2 Sailboat. I am a stickler, regarding organization. At my age, I don't sail very often. My most frequent departures are leaving the slip to go to pump out. I, merely, disconnect my power cord from the pole and place it on the bow pulpit. These clips get the rest of the power cord intact, making life so much simpler.As a side note: Also, I purchased Marinco Clip Electrical Shore Power Cable Clips. Because these are difficult to insert and pull the power cord out of, these did not work for the above described intent.

Hold electric cord off the deck securely, but will not hold 50a cords

I’ve seen these on other boats and finally broke down to buy them. They’re worth it. Now the deck looks clean and I can walk around and clean the boat without removing the cord.

My fault. I have double lines and did not realize these are very small for only one. I'm still looking at other uses for them though.

Nice to hang the shore power cord off the deck in the winter to stop deck staining.
