Hi there, Gsync/Freesync/VRR relies on the GPU manufacturer to release the necessary drivers to support it at 120Hz At the moment we cannot tell when we are able to support it Best regards Club3D Support

Q: Does this require a tv/screen that supports dsc, or is that just required for the source?

No it does not require the screen to support DSC the adapter will work as a decoder or bypass when the source is supporting it .

Q: would it connect series x to a monitor that has dp1.4 ? because the monitor has HDMI 2.0 not 2.1 ... if not any devices you guys have can do this ?

No. This is for using a DisplayPort 1.4 computer to connect to an HDMI 2.1 screen.

Q: Does this support custom resolutions such as 3840x1440p @ 120hz?

Yes it does, as long as the TV your connecting to has native support for it. Otherwise it will be a virtual resolution while the TV maintains 2160p 120hz.
