Does the job
Good for me. Does a job. Don’t know why people complain about taste. All medicine doesn’t taste nice the most important it works.

Another great laxative for constipation relief.
I used this product to alleviate quite severe constipation after taking Codeine pain killers. After 6 days of not being able to have any bowel movements I used these poweders as stated on the instructions and after another 3 days and much abdominal pain, the product worked and basically the whole world dropped out in one go and the relief was incredible. All I can say is thankyou Dulcosoft.

Works
Bought this instead of the liquid form. The same disgusting taste, but it works. I take 1-2 sachets in the morning, it keeps me regular.

Gentle but effective.
Having tried many remedies for constipation over several years I find this particular product from the 'Dulco' range to be the most convenient and effective. I have to take morphine daily as pain relief for chronic pneumonitis, a complication of radiation treatment a while ago, but I am otherwise fit and active. At time of writing I am fifty-five years old.Unfortunately the principal side effect of taking morphine daily is severe constipation. These powders work by softening the excreta as opposed to stimulating the muscles involved in bowel movement. This means that, although they take a while to actually work, there is almost immediate relief from most of the discomfort felt. I also find that when the movement is imminent, one still has 'control of the situation'. I have never had any 'accidents', as are reported with the more explosive Dulcolax pills, nor have I had to stay close to the toilet. I find I can take trips out of the house quite safely.I take the powders, two at a time, perhaps three or four mornings a week and carry on with my life as usual, which includes long walks in the park (far from any 'facilities') and trips to the gym.I barely notice the taste of the powder. I put the sachets into a half-pint of fizzy water, stir and swallow down. I think using water definitely helps kick-start everything. They do not cause any additional smell and I can carry on with everyday, normal activities with no sense of apprehension of social disgrace. I would recommend these over the more fast-acting pills and potions purely for the sheer retention of dignity they afford, but they do actually work as well. Perfect, in my opinion.

Not a great taste but you do get used to it
It's a medicine, right? So I guess it doesn't need to taste perfect. And it doesn't. Pretty awful in fact, but this is what you think initially. After a week's use you really don't notice it too much. For me, it's worth it as the alternative similar product (laxido) is full of electrolytes and tastes very salty. Dulcosoft has nothing added to the active ingredient, which means 1g less sodium per day.
