Can you them for walking on the paths as my knees not great and don’t want to use walking sticks?

I would say that they are fine for that and they are so easy to adjust to the correct height to suit you. Remember the correct height is when your elbow is at right angles when you are holding the poles. good luck.

How strong are these? Are they much stronger against bending when supporting me when slipping than cheaper poles, are they as strong as dearer poles?

These are my first trekking poles. They seem strong but haven’t really tested them stringently yet. Be sure to follow the instructions!
