Fahrenheat F2514 4' 120V Baseboard Heater, 48" Wide, Northern White

Directions were a bit confusing if you're not an electrician. Once you understand it though the install is pretty straight forward. There was some knocking for the first couple of weeks but that seems to have gone away. Heats the room up nicely.

I received the heater in very poor shape! The box was not damaged. So it wasn’t the carrier’s fault. The heater was very bent on both ends. The element was out of its bracket and the plastic clip on one end to hold it was broke. So the element was bouncing around during shipping and bent up a 1/3 of the aluminum fins on it. Long story short I needed it to heat my kids room. So I couldn’t wait for a return. I ended up repairing it myself. And far as the thermostat controller goes. All I can say is……CHEAP! It’s a loose sloppy knob.

Arrived quick and good price. End of heater metal is cheap don't know if it wasn't fabed right. Covers stay on tho.

Works as expected so far (had it for about a month so far). Some of these reviews are a little surprising - the description is not inaccurate - and electric heat should not be your primary heat source and you should not be surprised at your electric bill if used as primary heat. Others were right - yes the smell is horrible the first hour of use but after it burns off, there's no more smell.

This thing sounds like it is trying to gather all the electricity within a 20 mile radius. Every couple of minutes it starts reving up. Even on the lowest setting. I have to turn the breaker off just to get it to be quiet. I have this in the living room, so it’s right there taking all the attention. Horrible.

There was an odd smell the first hour of use. Bought as a point of use heater to heat a small space when the wood stove quits in the middle of the night to insure a good night of sleep. Glad I bought it so far. With general knowledge with ac electricity there is no need to even look at the instructions.

Not a hydronic electric baseboard like the description says, but upon receipt I realize this isn't so surprising at the sub-$150 level...but the description should be updated.

The heater almost caught my bathroom on fire!! I was lucky that I noticed the melted metal into my bamboo flooring. As you can see in the pictures, it melted all pieces inside the heater!! I was promised a call about the safety of the product, however Amazon has not contacted me since the instance on Friday!!

Installed it in the basement along with Honeywell thermostat. Has been working great so far. Had search for the circuit diagram on the web on how to wire the two together. Set it up to 19 degrees and the thermostat maintains the heat. Waiting to see how much I get dinged on my hydro bill.
