I have bought this yarn in two colours, an aqua and pumpkin. Whilst it worked up quickly into the throw/wraps is was crocheting, if I pulled a long length it wound round itself and twisted. And there was a very lumpy knot in the yarn itself which was very noticeable. As this is only for myself not a huge problem but certainly not suitable for a gift, unless you cut the yarn, which defeats the object of buying a large skein.

This yarn was good value, and the colours (icelandic) were nice. I used it for planned pooling crochet and it worked up a treat. The yarn is, however, quite a cheap feeling acrylic. It has quite a stiff, "squeaky" feel and is probably more suitable for homewares (blankets/cushions) rather than clothing. Great for planned pooling but I don't think i'd use it for other projects.

Disappointed really, it's my first time buying Red Heart it's expensive for the quality of yarn you get, not soft at all in fact feels rough like the cheap Yarn you got years ago, I won't be buying again.

I love RHSS yarn. It crochets up beautifully every time and as it slightly bulkier than the average Aran, produces fantastic results when crocheting blankets!

This is a nice yarn with complementary colours. It does tend to unravel fairly easily, but other than that no problems!
