VL-81 3000mAh Bi-Color LED Video Light

Really happy with this light. It covers both white and warm tones and gets decently bright. Easy to control the brightness and color temp on the fly, no fuss. Softbox mounts easily too. Battery life has been solid so far, no issues to report. Good pick if you need a reliable, portable light for shooting video.

This is an excellent little LED light. It's so versatile because it's small, it has a cold shoe connection, it has variable color range and brightness. It does a great job. It adds adds enough light to your subject without adding unnecessary glare. I've only used it for about 1 hour at a time and the battery was still strong. The materials seems sturdy. It doesn't come with a storage bag, so for travel you may want to wrap it up in something. There's really nothing to assemble, it works right out of the box and is very easy to use. This would make an excellent gift for anyone who likes to take pictures or videos. This is a great value.

I love that the brightness is adjustable and it is rechargeable! The material seems very durable and the mounting is easy and secure. No issues. It was packaged with care. You can stick it in your back pocket for transport.

This is a $28 VL-81 Video Light Softbox, camera mountable light and if you are making YouTube videos, shooting photos or maybe just looking or a mountable light for your streaming setup should this be on your purchase list? For context this isn't my first light that I have had however my last light just one day decided it didn’t want to turn on so after some tinkering I threw it in to the garbage can rather hard and decided to order a new one. For Example if you just search camera lights or camera mountable lights. the average costs of these searches is anywhere from $40-$70 and I don’t know about you but that seems like a lot for a light. So like any good shopper I have to hit the drawing board and define what would fit my needs and I think this will apply to a lot of you watching this video right now, a simple light with shoe mounts on it that can change color temperature it became easy. After re searching with all this in mind I came to this a light made by Ulanzi International group whoever that is. It has 81 beads (leds) 41 being white and 40 being warm light beads. It has a 3000 mAh battery those 3 cold shoe mounts and a 1/4 screw mountable option. It is small enough to carry around easily plus it charges via USB-C which Is what all of my other devices use. A bonus here is the way the back layout is done. In between the two scroll wheels that control brightness and color temperature is your UCB-C plug and just above it has small red LEDs that will tell you how charged it is. for those of you who want more specifics on this light I will throw some more specs up on the screen.______________> In Conclusion this is one of the better value softbox lights you can find on Amazon. It is versatile in its ability to change to a warmer color temperature, have other mounts and has a rechargeable battery that charges vis USB C. All in all this is a good buy. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. Nice even light with no glare or hot spots. Lightweight, adjustable brightness and color temperature. I bought two so I could have one on each side of the lens to make sure I didn't get any shadows on faces.

I'm finding more uses for this light. It's very lightweight and the battery lasts a long time. I use this on top of my professional mirrorless camera when I am photographing an event. The light can be intimidating and makes people feel like you are very close to them, so just make sure you are watching their reactions. It will work well for vlogging too. It's a great little item that solves many problems.
