I purchased these to give our house a little extra light when walking around at night as I occasionally work nights and trying to get into bed without turning on lights and disturbing my husband was difficult.when I told my husband I was going to purchase a couple nightlights he grumbled and said that they would look ugly around the house. I just nodded and quietly purchased these. When they arrived I set them up in a few places and waited for my husband to come home and see them. He was surprised by the design and told me they looked modern and were very bright for their size. He then set about placing them in various places around our home to best benefit from them.We have had them for about 6 or so months now and they are still going strong. My only complaint is that sometimes if they are in a spot that gets a little too dim, they will turn on even when it is still fairly light outside.

These are incredibly bright - even on its lower setting it is bright enough to cast an obviously visible on a wall more than 20 feet away, even before your eyes have adjusted to the darkness. In a small bathroom (6ft by 5ft) it is bright enough that there is no need to turn on the light. My small children don't want it in their room, because it keeps them up. It's so bright I actually marked it down to a 4 instead of a 5.Other than being too bright, they're nearly perfect. They are very low profile, have 2 brightness settings, and a light sensor. It's maybe a touch too sensative and turns on a little before they're actually needed, but not in a way that detracts from their usefulness.They have a moderate diameter that I could imagine interfering with another large plug in the same socket, but I haven't had that problem yet.

Live in an older home and there’s a few hallways that don’t get a lot of natural light as it is but these make it a lot easier to navigate at night.These are pretty bright so make sure where you’re putting them will be tolerable.

I highly recommend this product!Great product so far. The light is sufficient without being too bright. I'm 73 and my wife is....older (NO WAY I'm putting her age here!)I've had some falls and one of them was due to poor lighting. I now have more metal in my elbow and will never go through a metal detector again without sounding an alarm!I've placed four of them throughout my home. I'll use the other two as replacements. I highly recommend them to anyone in my age bracket, or just to anyone who might need extra light around the house at night, such as parents of small children.The added bonus is the lights are a Godsend in a power failure!

I was looking for night lights for my master bathroom, hallway, etc so we didn't blind ourselves, turning on lights at night. I found these and, especially for the price, thought I'd give them a try. And now, I don't know how I lived without them for so long! Even on the dimmer setting, these little beauties are plenty bright to see by but the light is directional so it's not staring you in the eye when you are half-asleep and just trying to wash your hands after a late night potty break!Although I initially only needed two, I have ended up using all six, putting them along hallways and other walkways throughout the house, solely because they are so convenient. If/when they ever burn out, I will be buying them again in a heartbeat!

We have several dusk-to-dawn night lights that work great and wanted to purchase more but they have been out of stock for awhile. We decided to go with Amazon Basics because we've used several of AB's products in the past and have been very happy with them, and this particular model of light is molded so that the light is emitted in a downward angle to help cut down on glare that can occur (I've included a photo).The lights came very neatly and securely packaged, almost as if they were delivered from Home Depot. The lights themselves are very nice and work well. When plugged in they are a nice warm white, but they are a bit bright for us. They have two settings to make it a bit dimmer, but even on the lowest setting it is still too bright.The most important feature for us, the light sensor, does not seem to work at all and the light remains on the entire time it is plugged in. This could just be an issue with our home since we have a lot of natural lighting, but other dusk-to-dawn lights seem to have no trouble working. Having the night lights on all the time defeats the purpose of getting the dusk-to-dawn light sensors so we returned them. They were nice and functional, just not for what we needed.

Love these night lights. I have used all of them around the house. The lights arrived quickly and they are exactly as described. Two thumbs up for the seller.

I hadn't purchased a night light since the early 2000's so I wasn't really sure what to look for or what to expect. Hands down these are amazing!! I love how they transition on their own depending on the amount of light exposure they get. I also like how there are 2 settings for the level of light this gives off. The bright level can definitely light up a dark hallway or small kitchen. The design is good. It doesn't take up alot of space and it's not an eye sore like other bulky night lights. Would definitely recommend.

Glad I bought them . Super sleek , great light sensor and not too bright at all

They work well & the quality appears good.But they're designed to go into the top plug/socket rather than the bottom one, which is just dumb.The bright/Dim adjuster doesn't make much difference & they're a little too bright, even on the dim setting.

Had to return this item.found it way to bright even on lowest setting.The lights worked ok,but just to bright
