Grandson loves this!

The app has been updated and its AWESOME! It’s an amazing tool for kids to learn and have fun with dinos! It has virtual reality for the kids to dimension the size of the dinos. It has a LOT of cool info or “secrets” about each dino, and really cool adventures so they can find out more stuff about them. My daughter can’t get enough of it! I’ve been told that learning about dinosaurs is really helpful for kids and this is an excellent and fun way to do so.

This is easy to set up! My child loves playing with it and I like that is learning while doing so.

I've read some of the negative reviews and ohhh boy.....this is why we need directions on shampoo bottles! -YOU need to download the Orboot App to YOUR own Apple/Android device. This product does NOT include a tablet. All you're getting is the globe. -If you're complaining about the globe being "too shiny" for the device camera to scan the stars, TRY USING ANOTHER DEVICE. I used 2 different cellphones and had ZERO ISSUES with the scanning. -After downloading the app to both an Android (Pixel 3) AND iPhone X (needed 2 devices because the kids were fighting over it....LOL), I've found that there are more features being offered on the Apple device; the AR experience of having a dinosaur appear in your living room can only be used on the Apple device. Android does NOT have the AR feature...that's SUPER LAME and this is the main reason why I'm giving this 4 stars. Otherwise, the learning experience is FANTASTIC. Bought this as a XMAS (2020) gift for a 5 & 2 yr old, they were OBSESSED with dino facts for the next several months! When the 5 yr old began kindergarten & was asked what he wanted to be when he grows up, he said: PALEONTOLOGIST!

Purchased this for my Nephew, who LOVES dinosaurs for Christmas and he said it was the best Christmas present ever. Had to ask him to set it aside so he would open the rest of his Christmas. Read reviews and also gave him an old iPhone with the app preloaded. WE loved putting the dinosaurs in the room and setting up photos. I love how you can choose grade level on the app so this can grow with him. HIs little sister enjoyed it to.

We are such huge fans of all of the Play Shifu products! We previously had purchased the Orboot and could not wait to get our hands on the Orboot Dinos Globe! Can I just say -- both my kids were ENAMORED and so incredibly excited when they turned on the app! They were oohing and ahing at all the cool features. What I love most about all of the Play Shifu products is that there are numerous ways to interact with the product. It's not just one game but there are so many aspects to the globe in particular. This is a huge hit for our family -- both my preschooler and kindergartener can't get enough. Thank you Play Shifu for yet again an AMAZING, well-thought out product! Can't wait to see what's next :)

I loved the concept and purchased this for my grandson who loves dinosaurs. There are codes on the globe that launch the correct story on the application, the user just needs to point the camera at the one they want to learn about. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a bit to be desired. The codes are close together, and it is easy to scan the wrong one unless you are very careful (children and careful are not a common combination). Also, the app is a bit slow to react and the touch points are fairly small, so it is hard to have a consistent experience. I don't think this is an issue with the tablet, I purchase a brand-new high-end Samsung tablet for him to have for the next several years.

Bought for a birthday gift, however bix was delivered seal is broken and box damaged as if its been opened and returned before, I hope thr toys itself is working.. Disappointed!

Good for kids who are interested to know about dinosaurs. I bought it for my 8-year-old boy. He is very happy with it as he is keen to learn deep about dinosaurs.

the novelty of the ar wears off quickly. and by quickly, i mean after 2 minutes both my kids were sitting on the couch not looking at the globe again.
