Update: I received a replacement for these and they work great. I have them in my window sill on my sunporch and when the sun goes down it looks so beautiful and peaceful which is just what I was wanting. Would definitely recommend these If I could give these a 0 I would. They did not last even a week. The first 2 nights they worked fine, the third night only half of them worked, the fourth half of that, and now none of them work. It was a total waste of money and I wish I had never bought them.

Long lasting warm light (at least 5 hrs in my location on the West coast). Adds a nice homey touch to the usual holiday lights and decor. They have sat on a porch that gets direct light (more in the winter), maybe some moisture but no direct water. They are too big for most of my votive holders so measure your votive if that's what you want them for. They have a lovely light. I bring them inside for dinner parties. Covering the top with a piece of dark fabric so they will stay on even if the ceiling lights are on. Mostly they have been outside lighting nicely as darkness falls. As for durability, two fell about 7 ft. onto a concrete walkway and still worked. They are dieing after about a year or the switch became compromised. I have to switch them on and off and they will come on again. I assume the drop onto the concrete compromised the components inside.Not a manufacturing defect. I am impressed that they continued to work. The rest of the candles light just fine, for a long stretch of time, maintenance free. I just purchased a second set. I only wish that the battery could be replaced.

Have used outdoors for 6 months now. Nice low-level flickering candles, yet visible from several hundred feet on a dark country night. Haven't tested the weatherproof claim for any length of time. I put them in small mason jars placed upside down with the lids secured to the tops of some fence posts. They do need full sun for most of the day if you want them to last all night long. UPDATE: I own 18 of these. Two of them have stopped working. I'm dropping my 5 star to a 3. UPDATE 2: Raised rating to 4 stars after the company immediately responded to me with a complete set of six lights. Thank you!

I’ve been using these solar tea lights outdoors and they’ve performed exactly as expected. They charge consistently, give off a warm flickering glow, and have already made it through a few rainstorms with no problems. The IP65 waterproof rating seems accurate, and they’re an easy way to add ambiance without worrying about batteries or flames.

These seem to be very well made, and work well. When I first got them, it was very cloudy for three straight days and the candles were full charged and came at dusk and stayed light fill dawn. They flicker slowly and realistic. Would recommend.

I would love to give these more stars but they stopped working. They claim they are waterproof to an extent but mine have stopped working after some rain. We live in the desert so rain is rare and it’s never sitting in the water. They worked really well for maybe 6 months and then I noticed a few stopped working. We do keep ours outside under our lattice porch.

All six work as described. I haven't timed them, but seem to charge in about an hour and stay lit throughout the night. They're not intended for bright lighting. I've used them in a couple of outdoor mini-lanterns (also purchased on Amazon) and they look great. I'll be using the others for outdoor holiday decorations as well. UPDATE: I noticed after the initial use, they require about 5-6 hours of charge to last throughout the night.

I ordered one box of 6 candles. All candles have worked as promised, but here is what I learned. I was hoping for something to light in my windows at night. I left the candles in each window for a full day of charge, but our cloudy days do not provide enough energy for candle to charge. When we do have a sunny day, I move all the candles into a south facing window with direct light. Even then, the glow doesn't last more than 3-4 hours. Some candles seem to charge better than others (even when placed in the same location to charge) lasting a few hours longer or having a brighter glow. The glow and the flicker are VERY nice! I imagine the best use is in a sunnier location since our midwest cloudy fall days aren't providing enough charge for them. I can see how they would very nice in outdoor spaces, too. Nice product, just not what I was hoping for in my particular use.

This item works well and consistently

All the candles work very well. Open up early at dawn and stay on all night. Very well weather-proofed. I really would have loved the same, but pillar candle. Overall, very good quality. I was impressed by how little sun it takes to make them work. I opened up mine maybe 2 hours before sunset and they worked. They were still on when I went to sleep around 9:30. Edit: I have them outside since their purchase this sping. They are still working perfectly, despite rain and wind. They light up at dawn and are still going strong when the sun comes out. I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
