The picture was perfect!
Personally I like larger cups so I don’t see me buying this for myself, but made the perfect gift for my mother-in-law who is called “Bambi” by her grandson.It was fun to get to show her the change in colors/design. Several product reviews on similar items complained that you could see the picture through the black, but that wasn’t the case with this one.We used hot tap water to get it to change, but you definitely need hot water or it won’t change fully or will change back quickly.The cup was a hit. I’m not sure if she was a Thomas Kinkade fan before, but she is now! Would highly recommend as long as you like regular sized coffee cups and you like this type of art/design.

Very nice matte black, can't see the picture at all until you add hot water. I've had a mug that changes before but you could see what was underneath. This cup is beautiful.

Hidden picture worth the price
Love this cup. Receiver had no idea that it morphed. Pour them cup of hot coffee. Surprise......Beautiful scenery appeared!
