I dont know how to find out whether this compass is super accurate or not. I bought it because my phone is too old to allow a compass app, so I have nothing with which to compare. Still, the make is solid, the finish and colour are excellent, and at least roughly speaking the directions are correct.

Very sturdy and very accurate. This is exactly like the Army compasses I am familiar with. One additional feature is the centering bubble. It has gone through two seasons and no fogging up yet, so air-tightedness is not at all an issue. Very reasonable price for the quality you get and definitely value for money.

Not worthy the cost, sometimes work sometimes not

I am a professional vastu expert and this is my go to device to take the directions! Perfect to the T and very handy! Comes in a great pouch that will keep it safe and easy to carry! Must have if you're into this feild or any other where you require the most accurate direction showing device. Total value for money and looks sexy!

The Markings in the View glass is excellent for taking directions in Vasthu. Compass needle is stable without moving constantly. This is more accurate comparing to Mobile phone compass. To get more accurate readings without magnetic declination, we have to use google earth. For pocket friendly and +/- 2 degree variations, this compass is best. Served my Purpose!

I just got it and I was surprised on how heavy duty it seems to be I was not expecting much for the price and I haven’t taken it in the field yet but it seems to be very good quality and I am going to be getting more of them for friends and family as gifts

I got this for my stepson for Christmas. He’s moderately interested in survival and bushcraft. I knew he didn’t have one. Looked for one with high reviews and decided on this. It’s heavy and has some really cool features that neither I nor my husband have seen. However, the bezel is super lose. I wonder if you were in a situation where you’d actually need to use it, is this going to be a problem? My husband noticed right away and pointed this out to me. And ya, come to think of it I remember a bezel usually has quite a bit of resistance so that your readings are consistent as you move about. I will do a little research and see if there is a screw I can tighten somewhere and adjust this. For reference, both my husband and I are military. I’m a supporter, and don’t use my topo skills like ever, unless I was on a course or something. My husband on the other hand has 20 years, and though he’s a desk and office guy now, these skills were pretty well hammered in. Bottom line, definitely doesn’t seem cheap, the simple case is a nice touch, and it has loads of nifty things like the viewing feature.
