I started using a manual derma roller a few years ago and loved the effect so much that when I was offered an electric one once before I jumped at the chance to test it. The electric one took it to the next level but it had its limitations. It needed to be plugged in all the time during use and the lead was ridiculously short, I had to sit hunched over whilst doing my treatments. This particular one addresses the issues I had with my old one. It comes with a nice, long lead that will either plug in to a USB socket or a regular plug socket, using the supplied adapter. It also works without being plugged in, when it's been charged up.I like to do my needling treatment once a month, I'm not sure how often you are supposed to do it, but I find that doing it at the beginning of the month helps me to remember to do it. It makes my face quite red and a bit sore, so it needs a bit of forward planning, don't do it if you are going out that night, and preferably for a few days.I also like to treat the backs of my hands, and don't forget your neck and décolleté. They look very red and sore for a while afterwards, but after a few days they look younger and the effects seem to be cumulative.I also treat a scar on the inside of my forearm and then pop some scar gel or cream on it, and I think that the combination is helping it to look less visible, but it's not a quick fix, it takes time and repetition.Doing the actual treatment doesn't take very long, 5-10 minutes, and you do have to be careful not to over-do it as it's not painful until you stop, lol.I pop some nourishing oil on my skin afterwards, Vitamin C or Lavender oil is good, but anything that is anti-aging should be good. You might not want to use anything highly perfumed as it might sting.I'm really happy with this needling kit and I'm happy to see that replacement cartridges are also available.

The media could not be loaded.  I can see the difference between using darma roller and Dr.pen. Impressive results. Easy to use and adjust different depth to target different face area. I used Hyaluronic acid serum before I used Dr pen and it's so pleasing to see how smooth pen moving around. Recommend 👍

The media could not be loaded.  The scale adjustment it’s wrong !If I put 0.5 it’s equal to 2.0!No way to contact the seller to get a replacement without having to refund as I have customers booked ! Very disappointed, it was a big investment for me and now I have a faulty pen !

It also works without being plugged in, when it's been charged up.I have tried this treatment a few times since receiving it with serums beforehand to help needle them into the skin to really be absorbed (I'm not sure how often you are supposed to do it, but bear in mind it makes your face quite red and a bit sore afterwards, so it needs a bit of forward planning, don't do it if you are going out that night, and preferably for a few days.)I have enjoyed noticing the effects of the serums being really able to penetrate the outer layer of skin.So after quite a few uses I’ve noticed it does help with anti-aging and the effects seem to be cumulative meaning each time I’ve used it I’ve noticed better results. Like a lot of things it takes time and repetition but I believe you will really notice a difference after a month of use.Doing the actual treatment doesn't take very long, merely 5-10 minutes, so it doesn’t take much time out of your day and it’s handy to be able to do it at home in your own time.After use I always ensure to fully re-moisturise my skin for full effects (plus it feels great too!).I'm really happy with this needling kit and I'm happy to see that replacement cartridges are also available for when needed.I think it’s great value for money and worthwhile owning.The only downside for me was the packaging- it is really basic and thus wouldn’t be great for gifting. It’s a small niggle really, but one I thought worth mentioning.
