Great customer service!
Very nice piece. It's obviously big enough for two, and maybe even a kid or two also.Excellent customer service from these folks. There was a little damage in the shipping, and they were very responsive to making it right.

It's actually a pretty good value
This is a serious piece of furniture, and is made out of thick, solid wood. You can raise both ends (head and foot) on each side independently. So you can lounge side-by-side, or sit up facing each other. Also, there is a slide-out tray on each side. Everything is heavy duty and over-built - much stronger than other retail examples that we looked at...and we shopped a lot. This is not in inexpensive piece, but if you do some checking you'll see that this is actually a low price when compared to the other options out there. It's actually a pretty good value. The shipping weight is 275 pounds, so be ready! Because if the weight and size, this is not something that you can easily carry into the basement for winter storage. Ours will get rolled into the garage and leaned against a wall during the off-season. It comes nearly fully assembled, with only the legs needing to be attached. The hardware appears to be stainless. The chaise is unfinished teak, so it will turn grey after some time outside. Some people like this, but we plan to varnish ours. This will be no small job, and I'll have to do some disassembly to do it right. The only thing that I'm not thrilled about is the plastic wheels. They look very strong and obviously won't corrode, but I think I’m going to replace them with something a bit nicer and more durable since we're going to need to wheel it from the back yard to the garage a couple of times a year. I think wheels with bearings and solid rubber tires makes sense. That said, I am very happy with this chaise. Its good looking, very well built, has the unusual dual head and foot functionality, and is competitively priced. 5 stars for sure. You won’t be disappointed.UPDATE: So I took the whole thing apart and varnished it. Lots of nooks and crannies to get into, so this was no small job. I ran into one problem during reassembly that would happen regardless of whether you do what I did or just tried to put it together straight from the box. The hardware to attach the legs didn't fit very well, and this resulted in the legs being too loose. Easy enough to fix if you're handy, but it was a bit frustrating. The back legs - with the wheels - use four threaded rods, each about three inches long, and two hex head barrel bolts on either end of each rod (google "barrel bolts" for a quick pic of what I mean). Unfortunately the rods were too long making it impossible to snug the legs properly. I simply cut off a few centimeters of the rods to fix this, and also added some wood glue at the joints - super tight now. The front legs were more of a challenge. The threaded rod and bolts are the same, but the rods here are only an inch long. I again took a few centimeters off of each rod, but this resulted in the bolts actually bottoming out on each other. I had to cut a few centimeters off of each bolt too. Once this was done everything fit well and I glued these legs too. Still very happy with the chaise, and for the money I couldn't come close to anything better.
