Doing what it said it would do.Especially good for these 2mm in size fruit flies (and those other wee blighters you get for free with pot plants!) also good for midges (Scotland), mosquitoes and house flies (I’ll try and put up a picture of a mozzy and fruit fly on the mesh)‘Easily cleaned’ is a bit ingenious of them. It’s not difficult, I use a small paint brush to get through the outer guard and clean the beasties off the mesh because most of them don’t drop off into the bait trap (why don’t they supply a brush??)Removing the ‘bait trap’ (what bait?) cover is easy.The cord is a bit short at 1m.It does make a slight ‘zap’ sound according to the size of the fly that comes in contact with the mesh.All in all, I’m happy with the device.***Update 18 Sept 2021**Brilliant piece of kit (see photos) from minute flies to bluebottles and anything else that chances its luck! Disappointed it was sent from France I thought it was coming from the UK had to wait three weeks for it

Worked well when it was on. Did what it was supposed to. Then stopped working completely after 4 weeks.

Very short lead (about 1 metre). Goes in at top so rather unsightly if sat on table top, counter, etc. Quite convenient though, if mounted hanging-up, as we did.

Tube only lasted 4 months of infrequent use

Bought this to try and improve the fly situation we have during the summer months. Had it for a while now and it has lured at most 3 flies. It is however very good at luring moths of varying sizes in through the window and zapping them, at least 1 per night. We've never had a moth in the house before...Not great for flies... Good for moths.

I have bought 2 of these ,both have failed to work in a little over 3 months, a complete waste of money, do not consider these they are not fit for purchase in short a rip off

I bought this light because fly paper makes me feel sick and I have aquariums and pets so I can't safely use fly spray I came across these lights when trying to find a product that would rid house flys without using chemicals it may or may not be good for mosquitos I don't know as I don't have problems with them, however the house flies and fruit flies that drive me mad are not affected by this light what so ever, I used it for a week and it had collected tiny moths in the mornings that flew away once I released them which left me wondering what is the point??? If I happen to have a mosquito trapped inside our home I may try it but it's to be used only when windows are closed at night and I love my windows open so it was a waste of time and money for my needs personally
