I had small area rugs made for the entrance of the living room and coming out of the kitchen from leftover pieces when we had the carpet installed. The problem is they move and bunch and create a tripping hazard. There were tons of items for holding the rug on smooth or tiled floors but this carpet tape said for adhesion to smooth or rough floors. I figured it was worth a try. It worked perfectly. It’s double sided so I cut multiple pieces to lay along the edges and then two pieces through the middle. I’m pretty sure the edges would have been enough but I wanted to be sure it would stay in place. So far the rug hasn’t moved at all. Taping along the edge prevents the rug from having a lip you can catch your foot. The roll has a lot of tape so you can secure a bunch of rugs with this roll. Would recommend this product and if for some unknown reason I have to secure a lot of rugs, would totally buy this again.

So- we have flor tiles EVERYWHERE in our house since we have a lot of pets. Those flor dots are PRICEY, and need to be relaxed any time you need to pick up the tile for cleaning. This is a great alternative!Things I have read in other reviews and can address:1) we have hardwood floors and I have not noticed ANY stripping of the finish and I’ve removed this twice from the floor in one spot. You kind of need to roll it up instead of just trying to pull straight away from the floor2) people rightfully were saying how difficult it is to cut. It is, if you use scissors. I figured out on my second use that if you use a sharp knife to the reverse side (fold over to make seam, cut with sharp knife) it works fantastically3) it is Quite difficult to grab a hold of the back so as to peel it off. My best advice is to really press firmly into the service and use same knife to lift corner of backing paper.Now that I’ve worked with it a bit, I am a big fan! My daughter has even used it on her latex painted walls to adhere records, then removed without damage to wall/paint.

I have individual stair treads and an area rug on my stairway landing that I need to not budge an inch, for safety sake. I previously bought a major brands’ carpet tape, which held well, but the widest size offered is 1.5”. That’s wide, but not as wide as this brand at 2”. Obviously more surface area of this tape equals more holding power. The hold is super strong, too. So much so that it’s a chore to remove the packaging from the roll of tape! I might like to see the roll of tape wrapped in a more waxy packaging so it is easier to remove, but it does speak to just how strong the adhesive is.

Before ordering this double-sided tape, I fought with this rug every day. It had a rug gripper underneath, if I so much as breathed on it, somehow it would re-position and show the rug gripper and shift positions so that it wasn’t centered in the space. Ever since I tossed the rug gripper and replaced it with this tape, I don’t fight with this rug anymore! It’s double-sided tape, be careful applying because once there it’s not easy to re-position. I got my husband to help so that we could place it in the right place the first time. Looks great!

This stuff was a life saver! I had two very stubborn rugs that would side and bunch up on the carpet... after using this, I haven’t had to fix the rugs once! (And we have 3 dogs and 2 kids so it holds even with them running around!) I seriously recommend it. Also, we still have a bunch left over if we ever do need to reapply it. Great value and great product.

This carpet tape is great! We didn’t know cause we just ordered from a selection of tapes from Amazon!But it was reasonably priced so we ordered itWe used it to tape down a big,long piece of carpet on our garage floor entrance into the house.We bought 11 yards, used all but a little left over!It had a covering on one side so we laid it where we wanted it and then removed the strip covering! Simple and complete! A good buy! Thanks Amazon!

I have a 72" Gel Pro kitchen floor mat that will not stay put - until now. Have tried grippy rug sheets, gel sticky gizmos, etc. - all to no success. Enter double sided carpet tape by Yoleto. It's sticky like fly paper. Really sticky. Almost gooey.Cutting the tape with very sharp scissors is necessary. It left sticky goo on my scissors that could only be removed with Goo Gone. I used masking tape on the floor as a placement guide. You really only get one shot at this, so plan your placement in advance. I cannot vouch for whether this will leave sticky goo on my wood floors because I have no intention of moving the floor mat.

This stuff is really sticky but it still comes up when I need to move the rug. Pretty great because I have real little kids that are always running around and now I don't have to worry about them tripping on the edge of the rug. One roll was more than enough to stick my little 4x6 securely to the floor. Be sure and sweep really well before sticking or you'll get surprise fur, hair, and other bits stuck just sticking out at the rug edges. Eek.
