I have a 10 year old bird dog with a history of injuries and Lyme disease, he also has thin fur and we live in New England so it gets cold here. This bed is perfect for him, its made well, very comfortable and sides act like a partial blanket to keep him warm. I havent washed it yet but i will order another one for my cat, she tries to take the dogs bed over. Very happy with this bed👍🏼

Update: so I've had this bed for over 1 month now. I have washed it 2x since purchasing, on delicate, dried the bed as well and the bed it still in remarkable condition. My girl loves it so much. Once she is done playing, eating, etc., she is running back to her bed, excited like crazy and plops down on this bed and is in heaven. When she is laying down, she ignores all. She will not move a muscle and only move her eyes haha. No teats, no flattening, no loss in fuzz when washed or dried, nothing. I am thinking of buying another for different parts of the home because she follows us everywhere. I definitely recommend this bed.Good quality. Very soft and comfortable. Perfect size for my american bully.

My dog loves this product. She loves to lay and sleep on it. As soon as we got it and put it on the floor she claimed it and sleeps on it all the time. She gets nervous during thunderstorms and when she lays in it she does not shake anymore. She feels very comforted in it and even sleeps in it overnight without even trying to get in our bed. She was always crated at night to sleep and now with her bed she doesn’t need it. She is a medium sized dog around 30 pounds and we ordered the larger size and it fits her perfect with a little extra room. Highly recommend for your pet even if they do not get nervous or anxiety. It’s super comfy and soft and your pet will love it.

I ordered the larger size to make sure my dog had plenty of extra-room to sprawl-out. She seems to really like her new bed, and I really like that she is preferring it over the couch.

Update April 24th: 3 *** I bought the first one August 2020 and I gave it five stars. It washed well it's stayed well shaped and I still love it which is why I bought a second one for my new rescue dog. I opened it up and I know it takes time to un-decompress but the center pillow donut part feels like it's only 2/3 full. The other one is still full and firm and holds its shape. It's hard to see in the photo. The one on the right is the one I bought in August of last year and it's plump and the new one just kind of is like a squishy pillow is just lacking about 1/3 of the filling.So I'm rather disappointed that I didn't get the same quality of the first one.Aug 2020. 5***** I don’t usually write reviews immediately as I’d like to wait to see how happy I am with the product. I am going to make an exception with this I received the Hachikitty calming donut cuddler dog bed two days ago. My dog immediately ran over and got into it. I’m a little jealous because usually she lays on the couch with me and she chose the bed over me LOL. I did a lot of research before buying this and I noted that in all the beds there was a common thread complaint about the dog sinking down around the center pillow whether it was a one piece bed or if it was a two-piece which this one is.First let me tell you the bag came out of the box and once I opened it it fluffed right up. It’s thick both on the sides of the donut and also on the pillow. As you can see in one of the photos she likes to slide between the center pillow and the outer donut which means she is actually sitting on the floor with her lower legs. To correct that and keep her from sitting on the floor I took one of her 50 x 60 blanket that I had for her and I laid it under the pillow and then punched it up around the pillow and it keeps her from sliding down and gives a little extra padding. I’m totally happy with the results! And again as I said I read that that was a common complaint both for the one piece and the two pieces beds.My dog is a 15-month-old chiweenie and weighs about 18 pounds. I did get the medium because I wanted room for her to be able to stretch out as she does when she sleeps on her side. She loves it, she immediately went over and laid in it. Sometimes she’s on top of the pillow and sometimes she’s half in the groove but she absolutely loves it. She came home today she had her shots at the vet and wasn’t feeling well and she immediately went over there and spent the day laying on her little bed. Definitely would recommend the bed.As for quality of the bed it’s fluffy and it wasn’t tangled. It’s looking very nice. It’s fluffy and thick and the donut part holds it shape when she lays on the edge. Bottom of the bed is just a piece of material keep it from sliding, there’s no padding. As I said I did put a blanket in there and pad the opening to provide some support for her and it works perfectly I’m totally satisfied. As far as the shag on it yes when you pull apart the shag and look down it’s in bedded in it looks like a little more open weave. I don’t believe she could tear it with her nails while turning around trying to find a position to lay comfortably. I would say I wouldn’t of bought this when she was in her chewing stage where she chewed on and tore open all of her beds. She’s now 15 months and she’s passed that stage and so far she hasn’t tried to bite on it. I’ll give an update in a couple months to see how it holds up but right now I would definitely recommend it. As I said I don’t usually write an immediate comment about a product that I buy until I can see how it works out but this I’m extremely happy with!

As you can tell my pups enjoy this bed. Has really helped my golden retriever with some anxiety and the little one just likes to take over even though he has his own! Great product! I had bought another brand of the stress relief donut style beds and this one has more cushion and thickness to it and comes in great colors!
