This was a gift for my granddaughter that was fun to make with her. It is smaller than I thought it would be, but perfect for her. The directions to build the box were easy to follow and once it is made she can use the decorative legos that come with it to change the designs on the top without taking the box apart.

The media could not be loaded. Added a few lights to one. The brick looks amazing.

Purchased for Christmas for 5 and 7 year old granddaughters! They loved assembling the jewelry box and are enjoying their "creations". Great gift!

8 yr old granddaughter loved this! She is sick of Lego sets but very excited about the jewelry box & also pencil holder bought seperately. Her favorite thing is that its usable & she can decorate however she wants instead of directions telling her how it should look. Lego keep the lower prices please!

Think my 8yr old niece will enjoy decorating this little jewelry box to use. Also bought an extra pack of dots so she can change the design when she wants a new look for it.

I've really been enjoying the Lego Dots collection -- the kits are very reasonably priced, the projects are smart and fun, they're sturdy as heck (I've worn the wristbands in the shower, at the dog park, even fell asleep wearing one, and have yet to lose a single piece!). They make great additions to existing lego sets, too, as I've added quite a few as things like rugs, paintings, graffiti and books.This kit is definitely my favourite of the bunch! The treasure box itself is excellent and a decent size! It won't hold say, a book or some golf balls, but it holds rings, loose change, buttons, pins etc no problems. Or, in my case, minifigs and minifig accessories, heh. The top of the box is honestly a fantastic canvas space to decorate, as it's both very sturdy (won't fall apart on a kiddo while they work) and is large enough to allow for some really interesting patterns. The instructions come with a half-dozen examples. I LOVE the heart pattern, but even still I'm tempted to pull it up and try something else, likely again and again. I can spend hours just on trying out tile combinations/colours, and it's all really easy to scoop up mid-project and come back to it later without having to hunt all the pieces down!The other reason I got this kit was for the sorting tray. Where has this been all my life? The lid pops closed and while I wouldn't shake it upside-down, it also doesn't feel like cheap plastic containers that refuse to have all four corners down at once.The most UNIQUE thing about this kit is that it is the only one with square tiles/dots. Lots and lots of them! They're what I had been missing, and have just added to everything else. I've purchased extra dots packs, but blank one-colour square tiles have yet to be included in any of them. Since the Dots line all uses the same colour palette, everything goes with everything else and I've been using colour combinations I never would have thought of on my own, like goldenrod and lilac!There is no way to lock this box, although it has a good closure. You can put as many or as few dividers in it (especially if you have extra lego) as you want, or can move them around or temporarily remove them if desired. It's a lego build that I actually expect to keep changing over time as I get new ideas, unlike some of my Creator or Technic kits that, once built, are done.I really couldn't recommend the Dots kits more. My nieces and nephews love them, my partner and I love them, there's a 30-year gap going on there, yet we can all sit down and be equally excited about opening a new lego project. The bag tags have been a HUGE hit. Sadly, I tried my panda, and they don't fit in this box. But the notebook does!Dragon is not included.
