Q: how many pounds can be on the table?

I bought the 6ft table. The eight foot works the same way. The written description on Amazon says, “ Thanks to the honeycomb design, the pressure applied to the table top is dispersed, making the 8 foot folding table exhibit excellent load carrying capacity of up to 297 pounds.” Now, I wouldn’t put 300 pound engine dead center on the table to test the strength, but they seem to be pretty sturdy tables and they don’t weigh as much as the old wooden variety. Easier to transport too.

Q: There aren't instructions on how to unfold the table. also, where is the carry strap? is it tucked inside? if no strap, i'll be returning it.

Q: How do you open? Is there a release? If so, where and how does it work?

A great question. To open this table. you will have to lay it down on the floor. At one end there is a place to put your hands. You will have to pull up until you release the laches inside to keep the table closed when not in use. You will hear a sound like it is being unlocked. You don't need to pull up hard on it. A gentle tug should do it. To close the table, make sure the handle is outside of the table so you can carry it. Push gently down till you hear a lacking / locking sound telling you that the table is now safe to move.

Sags a bit

Pretty solid table, I do find that it sags quite a bit under some weight. I have plants on it, and they're pretty heavy but not over the listed weight for the table to hold. The frame seems nice and solid but the plastic sags towards the center of each side. It was a pretty cheap table so I'm not too worried about it, it does what it needs to do.

This table is great. 8 foot is big. It is heavy, but quality will do that. Already used it for a yard sale, and we use it for science experiments. Love it!!!

best bargain

This the second table I have bought, same table. I have my neighbors about every Sunday for dinner. The group is getting bigger so I got the second one. They are easy to set up and put away and I am very grateful that I can entertain my friends and family this way.

Nice sturdy table.

I don't consider this lightweight (one category asked that I rate that) but it is sturdy and not difficult to set up. Cumbersome to carry but IT IS A TABLE, so, yeah. Folded it fits in my trunk so it works for me to take to craft shows.
