I spend more then $3000 in cookware in past two years, and just bought a carbon steel wok from different brand it is too heavy. Still have few Sori yanagi cast iron pan and Iwachu brand cast iron pan, but sometimes I really need some light weight and non stick pan too, looking for a while I decided to get Sori yanagi carbon steel pan the only thing I was worried about size, I don't want too small also not too large pan, so yesterday when I received package and opened the box this is exactly what I want and wash it cooked some food right way, I love it .

The non stick layer easily peeled off after a few times of use and became rustic. Very disappointting.

This pan sticks like crazy, doesn't matter what food I cooked. It does heat up quickly, but quite unevenly. There is a spot in the pan that always sticks on the food the worst. The instruction says only clean it with soft cloth because it has a coat of paint on it. This makes cleaning it a challenge since it sticks on every food I cooked. I am quite disappointed with it so far as I had high hopes for it.
