Nova Black Floor Stands for Sonos One (Gen1, Gen2), One SL and Play:1 (Pair)

This is without doubt a good product, strong and sturdy with the speakers sitting proudly on top. A couple of minor niggles stopped me giving it 5 stars: The screws to attach the pole to the base are screwed in using an allen key. This is a bit fiddly for someone with banana fingers especially the bottom one which is close to the base meaning it is difficult to turn the allen key a full rotation even in the vertical position. Another 5mm higher or so and it would have been a lot easier - or just use normal screws as it would not have been a problem using a screwdriver. Any way they are built now and that is not a problem I will have to deal with again.The speakers come with a wire that slides neatly away inside the pole to hide the wire. this is a fair bit longer than the pole and plugs into the original lead supplied with the speaker - so extends the distance from the plug socket that you can place your speaker. However you can only use this lead as the original lead will not fit through the pole so if like me you have your speaker next to a socket you end up with about 2m of excess electric lead to try and hide.It comes with plastic screw in feet that I guess means you can adjust if your floor isn't exactly level. These are beige in colour which I assume means won't easily leave marks on a floor. They are very small and I do wonder how robust they are.The speakers sit on the top with a couple of lugs that fit into a space under the speaker though not tightly. This means the speakers sit on top unattached except for the mains lead. Therefore if you have a large waggy dog or toddler likely to pull themselves up on it I would suggest a bit of double sided tape for insurance. Luckily I have neither and the speakers are place out of harms way but I thought it worth a mention.These are only niggles and the same would apply for many other stands - these are still an excellent product and I would buy again.

Extremely classy looking stands with excellent cable management, including a long extension cable.There are four locating pins that mean the speakers can’t just slide or be knocked off.I love the look of these; the brushed metal detail at the top of the stands give a really quality look.These stands aren’t adjustable but the height is perfect for me - exactly at ear height when sitting on my sofa. The overall height to the top of my Sonos Ones is 895mm.Just perfect stands!!

Very happy with these stands. I originally bought two Flexson stands as they seemed to be 'the' stands to get for your Sonos Ones. I won't go into too much detail on what I thought about those, but I found the paint finish very poor in places.So I replaced my Flexson stands with these and I couldn't be happier. Very nice quality. Feel solid and they look the business.I like the acoustic pad. I don't know if that makes a massive difference to the sound compared to the Flexsons but it's a nice little touch.Only thing to mention would be where the stand shaft is screwed to the base there are two silver screws that are permanently visible at the back. This doesn't bother me but might annoy some. The other point is that the speakers just sit on the acoustic pad, there's nothing to actually hold them in so would need to be careful that they are not knocked accidentally.Overall I would most definitely recommend these stands. They look great and are really good quality. You won't go wrong with a pair of these. Best of all you can buy them as a pair and not have to purchase as singles.

Shame otherwise great height giving food sound from sonos product

I like that these come with extension cabling to run from the speaker, through the stand and out the bottom to connect to the Sonos cables.Look great; easy to set-up; unobtrusive.

Bought to raise my Sonos One SL’s from the floor, and the stands are a perfect complement to the speakers. Well made and robust, they are a stylish accompaniment.

I received these stand a little while ago and only now had the opportunity to set them up.Everything looks fine, until I try to secure the base and the boom using the screws provided....because the screws are too small! Not too short, but actually to small for the holes.Now I have to somehow figure out how to get the right size machine screws.It is also impossible to contact the seller on this item. Not impressed.
