Works great, clean cut.
Worked perfectly for a Dot flush mount. Had a nice spring that pushes the cut off piece of drywall away from the bit for easy removal. I only used on drywall but it worked perfectly all three times. It fit in my Ryobi just fine (some people say it's too big) I had no issues.

Unsafe hole cutter
I'm not a person who writes negative reviews often, but this hole cutter is dangerous. It flew off my drill twice. The first time, just by reflex I tried to catch it. Cut two fingers on my left hand. The second time I let it roll across the living room floor. There will be no third time. I didn't expect much for the money, as I only needed to cut a few pieces of drywall, so if it lasted a day it would have been ok, but this was useless and unsafe. Save your money and your fingers...

Not worth losing a finger over
This hole saw is a piece of junk. In one of the product pictures it shows the bit has two posts that go into the hole saw to keep it in position so it doesn't fly off and can be removed easily. What was received does not have that. Half way through the hole when I stopped the drill it flew off the big, spliced open my arm, cracked a tile on the floor and put a dent in my wall. Absolutely a piece of crap. Not worth almost losing a limb and causing hundreds of dollars in damage. Get your personal injury attorney ready if you attempt to use this.

Good saw.
THIS SAW FITS MILWAUKEE QUICK-CHANGE ARBORS! It is a quality saw and it works. The bad reviews are probably user-inexperience; the included arbor is old-fashioned and needs to be cranked down with a pipe wrench or welded on....

Just the right size to install ceiling ligh†s
This hole saw is just the right size for installing ceiling lights. It came with two different size adopters which was nice. As someone else noted, be sure to use a drill with the extra side handle, or it will want to twist around. The only Con I have is because I was going through a wood ceiling I would have preferred a less aggressive tooth size. For dry wall it would probably work OK. Never the less, it was certainly easier and quicker than trying to saw a hole in the ceiling.

Good value and works well
I used it to drill holes to insulate my garages. I drilled over 80 holes and was happy with the results. The pilot bit broke on the second hole but I modified an existing bit to finish the job. The spring looked funky but actually worked to release the core. You need to keep the bit clean to avoid damaging the piece you are removing. If you are going to blow insulation in existing walls this tool will do the job.

Threads connecting the blade and the chuck are not tight. Will spin off and risk injury!
The blade itself is pretty decent and cuts through drywall pretty easily. HOWEVER, and this is a huge however- the threads that keep the blade connected to the chuck are not tight. When you use the saw with your power drill, and it meets resistance, the blade kicks back and the saw spins backwards freely, coming off the chuck like a Bey-Blade top. I was on a ladder cutting holes in the ceiling and it nearly flew off and into my hardwood floors. I caught it but sustained a small cut to my fingers. It could have been worse.Don't buy it. It's dangerous and you could risk damaging your floors as well as your fingers.

Great for 1 or 2 time use
I needed to cut a hole in a tub surround for the valve. I only needed to make one cut so I didn't need durable, but I did need safe and accurate. This was fine. The hole is accurate in size and cut well. Not sure how it would do in wood, but it did fine in the acrylic tub surround.I did already have a hole saw for smaller diameters that had a center hub with the locking pins, so I used that instead of the hub that came with this (no locking pins). It probably would have been ok with the hub it came with for this light duty cut, but I felt more comfortable using the one with the locking pins. This hole saw did come with the universal holes for other brands of center hub so was nice having that option.
