It's just a fun watch
This is a fun movie, just that. A lot red cool aid, a lot hissing. It's just that.... fun. If you want a very light horror movie while in bed that won't give you nightmares.

B Rated is being generous.
I don't like giving 1 star reviews, something doesn't sit right with totally crapping on someone's "art". So that explains the two stars. That said, this is the kind of B Rated movie that gives the all the other B Rated movies a bad reputation. Hard Pass unless you have nothing better to do.

a lot of big named actors pretty good plot. kept me interested all the way through. worth watching.

BEING AN AVID HORROR FAN I BOUGHT THIS MOVIE NOT EXPECTING TOO MUCH AND IGOT WHAT I EXPECTED. CASPER VAN DIEN SEEMED UNABLE TO SHOW MUCH INTEREST INHIS ROLE BUT, HE WAS NOT ALONE. I GAVE THE MOVIE TWO STARS BECAUSE OF THETWO OUTSTANDING CHARACTER ACTORS IN THIS MOVIE, TONY PLANA, AND DANNY TREJOWHO ARE ALWAYS WORTH WATCHING EVEN IN A PLASTIC MOVIE LIKE THIS. SAVE YOURMONEY THERE ARE A LOT BETTER B GRADE MOVIES OUT THERE. I'M LEFT WONDERINGHOW THIS ONE GOT RELEASED.

Bits and pieces of a movie
As a Casper Van Dien fan, i was able to get a small amount of enjoyment out of this, but it's pretty sloppy. It's as if the director were making scenes, instead of a coherent movie. So, what you get are bits and pieces of a story, but nothing you can enjoy as a whole. Loved the cave setting for the climax, but the jungle scenes are so similar, it looks as if they were all filmed on one acre of land.

I BOUGHT THIS GARBAGE FOR VERONICA. STUPID ME, I THOUGHT SHE WAS REALLY A BLONDE FROM HER DAYS IN "THE LOST WORLD". BUT SHE ISN'T. JUST ANOTHER FAKE. AND SHE WASN'T AS PROMINENT. AND THE ...PARDON THE EXPRESSION, "PLOT". IT'S ABOUT VAMPIRES IN THE SOUTH AMERICAN JUNGLE! THERE IS NOT MUCH ACTION, & WHAT THERE IS IS LAUGHABLE. ALTOGETHER, A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

Army Trained Vampires
Plot. Deep in South America it's elite commandos versus vampires who don't die in the daytime.This is an action adventure horror flick set in the jungle with good actors, nicely shot and well written dialogue. There's plenty of blood and some gory deaths. The vampires look great too and the idea of vamps coming out during the day really works well. I thought it was a great film that had me hooked throughout.Extras include a com, stills and trailers. USA Release Region 1.
