I just received it today, and its recommended that you fully charge it before the first use. So I am excitedly waiting for it to fully charge. I did turn it on to hear how loud it is, and it has a very low humm. Its light weight and has a small vibration to it. It very straight forward a small side and a large size. Seem simplistic can't wait to use it!Update: As I said above I had to let it charge it was at 90% when I received it and it took maybe 8-10 mins to get to 100 and I charged it using my laptop USB. I have a 8 week old puppy so I let her smell it lick it then turned it on held it close so she could hear it not a flinch so I proceeded. She is toy size may 4 pounds so I started with the smaller size side increase the speed try the large side and it was PERFECT! SUPER EASY TO USE!!! No more talen scratches from my fiesty little girl! Would highly recommend!!

I’ve always had issues with nail clippers (my dog always flinched too much) so I bought this nail grinder and my dog absolutely loves it. She literally wags her tail when I grab it. Super easy to use and the dog will let you know when you get close to the quick - which is a huge plus because it’s not scary at all! Just use a lot of treats first few times you use it and go slow - once the dog is used to it - super easy to use! i’ve had this for a year now and it still works great and the battery lasts forever. Only charged mine ONCE so far

I like the fact that it is Relatively quiet. I use it on my dogs about once every two weeks. It makes it super easy to maintain their nails without injuring them. At first they were a little gun shy of It however with repeated uses on them they have excepted it as a normal thing. One thing I don’t like about it is is it there’s nowhere for the nail dust to go it basically builds up in the shield and then falls out. It would be nice if that was not the case. It does have two speeds so if you’re in a hurry or the dog has really hard nails you can speed it up and do the task very quickly. It is rechargeable I do three dogs twice a month and only have to charge it maybe every month. It’s really a nice product. I’d recommend it for your dogs and possibly cats

I ordered two nail grinders for my 45 lb dog-this was the one I thought would be best but it just wasn’t. My dog HATES his paws or nails being touched by us….and anything else doing it is much worse….he will bite even us. But he has pretty thick, black nails…not like a poodle or mini dog….so we have to torture ourselves and him! This product does have a good heavy feel to it in your hand and it was quiet (although not as quiet as the other one) and he didn’t really mind the noise at all. He will not let the Dremel get close to him as it os so loud…so this was a good start! Unfortunately when I tried using this on his nail it didn’t have much power, even on high setting. Almost seems to slow down when trying to grind….not good. It didn’t take barely anything off and he is not one that will let me hold it on there for ten minutes per each nail so it is being returned. Sorry, if you have mini nails it may be fine but not for thick ones!

My dog is very comfortable when I use after cutting her nails, great product!!!!

Buy pups are one years old and they have not had their nails cut since March 2020 when the pandemic hit I didn't know how to do it and I was too afraid of hurting them I noticed my pups started Chewing there nails I saw a guy using the tool and it blow my mind I did research on this product did it really work could I do it myself safely with out harming my pups little toes 😀 so many great reviews watch a few videos I was convinced it came with a manual so easy to read easy to use best part it tells u to let your pet hear it smell it (while off smell) talk to ur pet give treat when it goes well it was amazing my girl and boy pup was a little wiggle but calm down with in seconds after first nail cut all nails done got a treat and ran around for awhile im happy pups happy 😊 no more biting nails or scratching us at play time..A MUST HAVE PRODUCT

I have a 75lb Doberman with thick black nails. On top of that she's an absolute prima dona. She refuses to go outside if the ground is wet so imagine the difficulty with keeping her nails in shape. Normally it would take 2 of us to do her nails...me clipping and hubs keeping her still and giving treats constantly. I read the reviews on this tool and took another leap of faith (yes I've tried tool after tool before). It's like night and day! The tool is audible, but not loud at all. I turned it on a few times and let her sniff it just to familiarize her with it before ever using it. Today we did the 2 person team, but she laid there licking peanut butter from her kong perfectly still and didn't fight once. One tip: if your dog is as touch sensitive as my girl, give them plenty of time to get to know the tool. Grinding is super fast and easy. If you hold each toe firmly that almost completely negates and vibration when touching the nail too. Most definitely one of the best finds for grooming a hard to groom pooch!

Great product. Super quiet. My big skittish Malamute actually fell asleep during her pedicure. Only draw back is the grinding bit slips if you even apply a little pressure so it takes a long time. Hence the falling asleep lol

Charge holds for a long time. Best to use regularly to keep nails short. Will take time if nails are long
