Looks just like the image portrayed. Was very soft to the touch, very easy to put the duvet cover on my King sized down comforter. As another review mentioned, the shams really looked more like pillowcases but they were of the same material, and matched the duvet cover pattern quite well.

I saw this duvet cover on a TV show, grabbed my laptop and began Googling to find it. I found it here and on two other sites. The other sites charged well over twice what I paid on Amazon. The rub, on the other sites, the reverse side had a pattern versus solid color, and one pillowcase had a design on the far left and the other, the far right, making them more symmetrical for bedscaping (yep, that is actually a thing!). I was torn between the two and then realized, I never use the reverse side of any of my duvet sets and would anyone actually notice the non-symmetrical pillows when I have throw pillows on my bed? Also, I have dogs. So do I want to pay over twice what I'm paying here for the same design??? Nope.When you first open the bag it comes in, the fabric feels and looks "silky" (poly blend?). Concerned about the fabric, I began looking for a sewn in tag (which is usually on most duvet covers) and couldn't find one (to see the fabric type/washing instructions). It did however have a card with washing instructions, etc. I tossed it in the washer and dried it on the Wrinkle Free setting. I immediately put it on my bed with a furry throw and pillows. LOVE IT! After washing, it loses that initial silky feeling and sheen, but it's soft enough ( I use a flat sheet, so that doesn't matter to me). I wanted something colorful for Spring/Summer and this Chinoiserie design is perfect! I usually stay with calming, softer colors, so I was surprised that I gravitated so much to this design and I'm so glad I did! It's just the pop of color I was looking for!The ONLY complaint I have about this set are the pillow shams (which is why I didn't give it 5-stars). They share the same pattern with a large bird on the Left and both close on the Right. The bird is placed on the far left on each pillow versus one on the Left and one on the Right (they did it right with the costly set) and the button closures should be on opposing side. This detail was not overlooked in the costly set, but add some throw pillows and no one will be the wiser.As for those who complained about the 'cartoon eyes' in the pattern or feeling 'watched', if I were younger, I would not have likely gravitated to the color or design. But as I've gotten older, I appreciate Chinoiserie design. The eyes are not cartoonish but match the style of design. So before you buy, enlarge the bird faces and get a good look.Details: The pillowcases have buttons to secure them and the duvet has a hidden zipper. The color is not gold or dijon yellow but more of a darker citronella (the color, not the plant color) or Karmann Ghia Puce.

This is very strange fabric; it's as if it's coated in wax or something. I'm surprised that you can call this 100% cotton... that might be the fiber, but they don't have to declare the coating? Stinks when you open it, like stale grease, but I assume that will wash out. It's not very heavy cotton; it's just made stiff by the coating.Darker than I was expecting, but that's okay. I got Pattern5201, which appeared to be sort of a dark teal online, but it's more of a dark blue. Granted, with a touch of green to it.I am going to wash this and suspect it will meet my needs if the stink goes away and if it becomes not as stiff as it is. I got this because I have a dog, and she sometimes sleeps on the bed. She can be a bit vigorous, and I just can't have delicate fabric on the top of my bed. Although this is thin cotton, it's also a fairly tight weave, so I think it should work.I didn't see a good description of the pillowcase design when I ordered. They are 'pocket' pillowcases, where there is a hem folded back on one side to catch the pillow in. I don't have king-size pillows, but I've sometimes just folded a king-size case back inside the pillow and it works fine, and I will guess that it will work fine here, too. If not (and if I decide that I care), I'll sew them to a shorter length.Again, I think this will work for me in the sense of being attractive and sturdy enough... as long as the stink washes out. I will report back later.

So lovely! My old duvet cover had been a victim of a puppy that loved chewing corners. I had such a hard time finding a replacement. But I love this king duvet set. I have a Queen bed with an 18 inch mattress. So the King size works well. Colors are rich, yet muted. Perfect autumn bedding.

I was a little worried about how this bed set would turn out, but it’s very cute and seems like pretty good quality. There are some wrinkles, but I put it on the bed before steaming it or running it in the dryer.

I did not think, I would like this cover as I felt the print was smaller than I liked but I love it!

Daughter picked this out for her room. It is a beautiful pattern and made very well. My only suggestion would to put more ties inside to attach the comforter to. There are not that many, just upper and bottom...they need middle to. This will keep the inside comforter from moving around. Reason why it's only 4 stars instead of 5. I will just have to add them myself. Other than that...beautiful.

Just a beautiful print and soft feel. Also seems durable.. so the dog won't ruin it too! No problems here.

The pictures make this look way better than it is. It's soft and has great colours but it looks a little more cartoonish than I would have liked. I thought this was traditional bird theme but the birds look scared lmao. I never return anything so thank God it's a guest room and maybe people won't stay too long. Even my husband said...what's wrong with the birds? I died laughing. It does have a zipper closure and the pillows button up which I really like.

Nothing but bird on shams/the bottom peacock and bird are not the same size or match the color of the rest of them. Not happy- will be returning. For this much money it should be flawless.

I love the colour combination and the fact that the shams are actually just pillow cases, which I prefer. It is very soft and the colours are absolutely beautiful

The product description says that this is a cotton product, but it is NOT COTTON, it is a polyester fabric.
