JW Eastman Tenor Saxophone Silver Fibreglass Case CE 195 S

I did have to return this product because it was too heavy for my back at over 7lbs. Unfortunately, the vendors hardly ever show the weight. But, it is one of the nicest looking cases I have ever seen and made extremely well. The brand makes lighter cases that are not fiberglass, under 4lbs. which I will look into. Love the way it hugs the saxophone with the padding. Mine is an Super Balanced Action Selmer.

I got this case to protect my 1957 Selmer Mark VI (original lacquer). I was traveling with my son and my saxophone. He was carrying it like a backpack, and when he went to take it off, it fell STRAIGHT to the floor. And bounced.After screaming a few expletives in the middle of a crowded airport, I opened the case. I fully expected to find keys and keyguards bent. But the horn looked intact! I moved the keys and everything seemed fine.When I got home, I got the horn out and playtested it. The horn is absolutely unscathed. I know that a case is supposed to protect a horn from drops, but I never thought I'd actually see it fall a full 3 feet onto tile floor and be completely protected.Five stars. Highly recommended.
