I purchased these as a pool toy for summer. I am the Nana and have had grandkids living with me through quarantine. I went ahead and let the 5-year-old play with the treasure chest before pool time. First thing I noticed was no drain holes. This is a pool toy. It's going to hold water. That's going to make it go rank. Pool toys really need a drain hole. Preferably multiple of them. This one had none. The gems are amazing colors. The parts that glow in the dark really do glow. The 5-year-old loves paying pirate with his booty. Sadly, The treasure chest is now history. He's not rough on his toys. He is amazingly gentle. The treasure chest is just that cheaply made. I sort of expected it. But was hoping for a little bit longer than a couple of months. We still have the gems to throw in the pool. And this nana will find another place that the gems can be stored.

This is super cute for the pool although smaller then I’d have liked. I wish everything in the kit were the size of the large gem as they are easy to miss at the bottom of the pool. The (plastic) treasure chest lid breaks off easily although it does reattach. I think it has given my little mermaids hours of fun and cheap enough to lose if that happens.

It says it comes with a treasure chest. All I got for my grand daughter is a bunch of gems. Not at all what I wanted but now it’s late to return since our Xmas is this weekend

The kids loved playing with these. We used this for the bottom of our pool so the kids could dive down and grab the treasures. What the kids loved the most was the fact that the shells are solar powered and therefore after being in the sun all day, they got to bring them inside and see them glow in the dark. Definitely a great buy for kids maybe 5 and up as they enjoyed it!

Such a fun gift idea for kids. We purchased two, one to give as a gift and one for our daughter. Both kids love playing with the jewels and treasure chest. The treasure chest is well made, fits in the palm of your hand, perfect to take to the pool or play with in the bath. It also comes with some bonus glow in the dark toys that fit in the chest.

Only about six of the jewels or a good size the rest of them I threw away because they were smaller than the size of a nickel and I was concerned with them getting lost in the vacuum sucking them up

Bought 2, both boxes broken immediately upon touching them. The hinges are not made to keep the top on. Very cheaply made. Disappointing.

Are they kidding!? This whole set is TINY! Do not buy!
