Professional shucker, too so I know clams especially in the can…Iggy’s is Lots of nice diced surf clams packed in clam juice/ water for a GREAT value compared to the small cans from ANY manufacturer. Iggy’s Clam to water ratio about 33-45% never with Bumble Bee. Snow’s, even Bar Harbor.A single layer of clams in most cans.The mix is convenient though the bag recipe is the original basic, it’s good. Add some seasoning- onion powder, white pepper, even some powdered white cheddar cheese. Spice it up with cayenne. Add taco seasoning. You know you like Mexican.I made clam cakes and in addition to the recipe water, I used a cold n/a lager a little at a time to fold in the carbonation ( cold soda water works great, too. This loosened the batter nicely. Made the crab balls then flattened to add to hot oil. Carbonation puffs ‘em a bit and makes them lighter. Cook off the bag and Freeze what you don’t eat. Awesome reheat in Air Fryer!DID YOU KNOW? - look on Amazon for St. Ours Freeze Dried Clam Broth. Get a little box of 4 packets and add a packet to the mix before you add liquid. Serious fresh clam flavor because that’s all St. Ours is. It’s been around for over 40 years but poorly marketed. For real, the flavor and color is EXACTLY like theClam broth you get when you steam little necks, top necks, cherrystones.

Easy to follow directions and very tasty. Loved it. I just added an extra 1/4 cup of water to get the consistency right but other than that, I enjoyed them. It made me miss Galilee, Point Judith and Rocky Point.

I only received half of my order. I received the batter mix but no clams. Please let me know how to handle this??????

I moved from New England to North Carolina. You can’t find clam cakes among other things down here. Finding this product on line was a dream come true. I made a New England clam chowder with clam cakes on the side and it was like being back home. Thank you Iggy’s.
