Well made and powerful, unlike other wimpy sharpeners. I use it all the time.

I am 78 years old, and this is the first pencil sharpener I've found, owned and used that really works. It's fast, accurate and really gives an excellent result. It also looks awesomely attractive. This is my first review for any of Amazon's exceptional products. I even am thinking about buying several more of these and giving them to my friends at Christmas time. As a second grade teacher I go through pencil sharpeners way too much during the school year. I’m happy to announce this one is still in great working condition!

Works well so far. Has a much bigger shavings catch drawer than our previous pencil sharpener (which conked out).The auto shut off (once pencil is sharp) feature makes our kids think this is broken. It does feel like it’s broken when it shuts off—not a familiar feature to us. As long as it is long term robust, it seems like that could be a good feature.

Dreadful product. I bought a replacement product and it was just as bad. I don’t recommend anybody purchasing it.

You have to be careful with this sharpener, as it makes a sharp enough point to injure someone or go through the paper. I have some trouble centering the pencils so they sharpen easily, but that could be the pencil's fault. The power cord is too short, but I was able to plug it into a desk lamp, so that was solved.

This worked well for 1.5 years, but stopped working suddenly (making a grinding sound but no longer sharpens).
