My first Le Creuset. I knew they were good... but, WOW!
Ok, so it's not like Le Creuset needs another positive review (although I'm the 1st for this product listing, probably for that very reason). They are a quality name and the longevity of their brand speaks for itself. But I just have to say that I made a 2 egg omelette with this skillet and it was probably the best one I ever made. Not only were the eggs great - fantastic texture and evenly cooked - but I only needed some hot water and a soft sponge to clean the pan afterwards - NO SOAP! (The instructions that came with the pan say that you can use soap, but they recommend to only use hot water if there is no stubborn food residue.) I DID use some butter and brought both the fat and the pan up to heat together on medium heat, then low-med after I added the eggs. The only thing that stuck a little was the cheddar cheese that oozed out of the sides of the omelette a bit... but came off easily when washed. As for the size - perfect for 2 large eggs if you're scrambling, frying, or making an omelette. However, a fritatta to put in the oven could probably be made with up to 4 large eggs.Bottom line - if you're thinking about buying it, go for it! I think it was a great investment and I just hope that with good care I can keep this pan performing and looking new for many years.

Became my fave little daily skillet
*It's tiny - 6" - can you say, fabulous portion control? Great frittatas. Great omelettes. Great over easy/pan-poached.*Non-stick - it isn't your normal "non-stick" surface, but there isn't a thing I've made that stuck. Eggs. Chops. A little veggie stir-fry. Toast a tortilla.*Cleaning - amazing. If a meat product leaves a little bumpy residue, duh. Couple of tablespoons of baking soda covered with water, boil for a few minutes? Darned thing looks like new right out of the box.*Cute (haha) - it is! So much so, I keep it out on my stove for aesthetic appeal.Worth every nickel.

Workhorse of a small pan!
This little workhorse is so small, I came close to returning it. Instead I used it. I like my eggs whipped before going into the pan and then they get fluffy as they cook. Turn over with ease to have it done on both sides without becoming dry. These eggs were even better than the ones I’d made in an older Teflon pan. So glad I kept it. Cleans up easily and quickly.

Enamal dimpled, chipped and thin
This skillet arrived with the enamal dimple chipped. Along with very thin enamal coating on the handle. This us going to lead to further chipping and rust. Not what should ve expected for a le creuset pan of this expense. It is in return status and will be on its way back tomorrow. I expected better. I'll buy straight from le creuset next time.

Good
Heavy duty. Looks great. Durable. I have cooked three things in this so far.1. Eggs: stick to pan.2. Seafood: sticks to pan.3. Sun-dried tomatoes: no problems.Use a different pan for your eggs!PS: I spent an hour watching online video of how to cook an egg in this pan. None worked! I tried preheating the pan, using more oil, less oil, letting eggs warm up before cooking, cooking eggs longer, not as long, etc. No luck! Your eggs are going to stick to this pan.

My 50 year old ‘Le Creuset’ small skillet gets an ‘on deck’ spare…..
My 50 year old Le Creuset small skillet was showing some wear on the inside enameling so I bought this spare. The new one isn’t enameled on the inside and presumably will last even longer than my trusty old skillet……
