I used these detox tablets because my machine had that annoying musty smell that never fully goes away. After just one cycle I could already tell the difference. The drum smelled properly clean, not covered up with perfume. They are very easy to use, just drop one in and run a hot cycle. No mess, no effort. I also noticed my clothes felt a bit fresher after, which makes sense when the machine itself is actually clean inside. Just don’t expect a miracle if your machine is very dirty. You might need to use more than one tablet. Also there is almost no fragrance, which I personally like, but if you enjoy a strong fresh scent this might feel too subtle. Overall it does exactly what it promises. Great for keeping your machine clean and working properly without any fuss

I use the ‘EGG’ quite a lot. I alternate with washing sheets. The EGG leaves your washing clean and softened through its scientific process. It works! You can buy refills which are used after around 50 washes.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Initially lifted the smell, but wasn't strong and came back quickly, a little disappointed to be honest.

Love these products. Easy to use

This does work well for cleaning those beastly machines that we rely on. It came in very minimal packaging that can be for the most part be recycled, which I appreciate. There are no real instructions, but I have experience with this type of product, so I tossed one in my washing machine and ran it on the hottest cycle, empty. Same for the dishwasher. They seemed to work! They did smell a bit fresher, although I usually use a cleaner tablet of another type in my machines. These cleaned equally well as the brand names but cheaper. The only reason not five stars is the quantity. Eight is a rather random number. Twelve, a year's worth would make more sense, or six months.
