KAMOSSA Sleep Mask

The city lights coming in my bedroom window were coming through my blinds and making it hard to get to sleep. I had a few sleep masks that weren't cutting it, so I ordered this one. This is far and away the best one I've ever had! love it! It is lightweight, the strap is thick and adjustable. I love that it sits away from my eyelashes, which makes a big difference-with other masks, I have had creepy dreams about not being able to open my eyes. I got the purple, which is super cute.

My husband watches TV at night. All night. Every night. The light from the TV is a constant annoyance for me and was constantly putting covers over my head and trying to make it lay just so, so my nose and mouth were exposed but my eyes were covered. I finally decided to try a sleeping mask. First I purchased one at the mall. It was incredibly tight and made me feel claustrophobic. This one works wonders though! It is adjustable in the back, which certainly helped with lessening the pressure it put on my head. The part that goes over your eyes is raised to leave room for your eyes and eyelashes to move. The first time I put this on, my husband said it looked like I was wearing a bra on my face, but with some use, the raised sections for the eyes have become less pronounced.I do sometimes wake up with this mask off and I have to hunt for it, but I wear it pretty loose so that I don't feel its presence as much. It took me a few days to get used to it, but now I don't feel comfortable until I have this on and any light blocked out.

I tried this eye mask on. It was the most ridiculous fit... It doesn't fit in any way, is not comfortable, lots of light comes up from the bottom, it's too huge and puffy... I mean the raised eye cups.. they pop out so much that I can't sleep on my stomach or my side, the velcro in the back is so long, and it can't be adjusted properly to fit. The smallest adjustment makes a huuge flap of velcro protrude in the back, which isn't very smooth to sleep on...All in all, I REGRET MAKING THIS PURCHASE.Perhaps this was designed with one shape of head and nose and bone structure in mind... because it sure as hell isn't for everyone. Maybe a big headed man with a high bridged nose.So I just have this poorly designed eye mask sitting in a drawer. I wish I'd returned it, I don't know if I can, but I'm disappointed.UPDATE: The company, Kamossa, offered me a refund and their newest eye mask. They believed it would fit me much better.So I agreed to give a positive review if I did indeed enjoy the replacement eye mask.They refunded my money, and asked if I received it. I said yes and thanked them, as I waited patiently for my new eye mask. I desperately needed a new one, as I'd told them. So I put off buying a replacement from someone else.A while later, they asked me if I'd received my refund, again, and told me to make my review more positive... Except I hadn't received the new eye mask they promised me, so obviously I couldn't review it yet. I let them know that.No one replied back.I STILL HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE NEW REPLACEMENT EYE MASK, AFTER MANY MONTHS.THEY NEVER UPHELD THEIR PROMISE.Yet, I still raised this review to 2 stars anyway. But as for the company, I'm very disappointed that they refused to follow through with their own replacement offer, to make up for the poor design of this eye mask.

Let me start by saying this sleep mask does it’s job. It blocks out 95% of light, as long as it’s positioned correctly on your face. However, it doesn’t seem to hold up over time. I’ve had this mask for about four months now, and in the past few weeks, one of the layers of fabric has begun to peel off around the entire perimeter of the mask. It’s only being held on by the middle of the foam layer now. I would not purachse again, as it only lasts a few months before it starts falling apart.

Bought this for my husband as he sleeps during the day and works at night. We've tried flat, sleep masks that are not adjustable and those are a waste of money. This pair is like the Rolls Royce of eye masks! The picture doesn't do them justice. This is the first pair he can leave on the whole time he's sleeping because they don't bother him! He has a huge head (has to special order all hats) and these still fit him because the mask is adjustable for any head size. When you open your eyes it feels like you are in a dark room rather than that claustrophobic feeling you get when you wear a flat mask and it's hard to open your eyes and then when you do you get fuzz in your eyes. These ones are bumped out just enough to fully open eyes! My eyelashes don't hit the mask at all, but some of my family members with longer eyelashes did notice that their eyelashes brushed up against the mask when they opened theirs, however this did not bother them.

I am a very light sleeper...lights, sounds, movement, it all bothers me unfortunately. I always keep a spare pair of earplugs in my purse for when I am not sleeping at home just in case, and they always come in handy. I like that I wanted the sleep mask but got a set of earplugs in this nice little travel case for them along with a travel bag for everything. The mask is the nicest one I've ever had, I guess because of the design the fabric just goes around my eyes, so I like that my eyes are not rubbing up against the fabric, it makes it feel like I am not wearing anything at all. As far as light goes, these work pretty well, but if you are in a very bright room a little light gets through the nose, but maybe just tighten them? I use them because my neighbor's Christmas lights are so freaking bright they shine through two very thick curtains. These are also great when my husband wants to stay up late and work on his laptop, no more keeping me up later than I want, and nobody wants that! These work great for me!
