I use these for cheer when trying new skills. They fit well and work nicely.

It's a good fitting helmet with laces in the back and velcro closure. It's enough foam but not too thick. I wear a beanie over it in winter. The PE foam is eye wateringly smelly, thus the 4 stars. I washed, soaked, and washed again. Then left it out in the sun for over a week, turning it over daily.

Great protection for those minimal contact sports! My kids love wearing it

Tan abnormally small on my 13yr old. I ordered a larger size and it was the exact same fit. He wore it too small and some of the lacing broke (probably because it was too small.) but the stitching wasn’t functional as to loosening the helmet any. The chinstrap literally buckled at his mouth. Thank goodness the season was only 3 wks. It seemed to be good quality, but sizing made it useless for us.

The soft helmet fit nicely just make sure you measure the head so that you get the True Fit.

I bought the helmet for my daughter who is a freshman in college. Stunts obviously have a higher difficulty in college. She suffered a concussion earlier in the season. So she agreed to protect herself during stunt practices. Since wearing the helmet, she has taken a few hits to the head during stunt practice. However, she said that other than knowing it occurred that she didn’t feel the hits. Sure there were some funny comments from her teammates. However, her team understands that she wants to prevent injury while learning and perfecting new stunts. The team is supportive.
