Versatile and feature-rich tent
The media could not be loaded. I was finally able to get out in my new Hex Plus tent for a few days of solitude. This was the first real outing.Pro*stitching looks solid all the way around*zippers didn’t catch or snag entering or leaving over the 3-day trip*I believe the silver lining significantly reduces the heat that is normally generated from the sun shining on the tent. This was nice.*The mesh half inner tent is a must in my area due to insects but its nice that whether you put it up or not is up to you*Being able to expose the meshed area by opening the tent sections is a nice feature for when you want to be outside but protected from bugs*The pockets in the mesh are very handy and the ability to hang a lighting source is great*Two campers plus gear could easily fit in the half-tent.*This was the first tent purchase that I didn’t have to go and replace all of the tent pegs before using it. They appear to be of good quality and did not bend on this trip.*The stove jack flap when rolled up had significant space between it and the chimney. No issues there. What I would change or tweakThe hooks for the removable top cap are a bit of a pain in that they manage to catch each other or detach as I was raising the tent. Not a big issue but I may replace them with small carabiners or split rings or something of that nature. I’m not sure that it needs to be removable. It would add a bit of weight but a window or possibly one on each door would be a nice feature. Perhaps clear vinyl with a mesh screen and outside flaps of the same tent fabric. It’s definitely not a deal breaker but the silver lining does create a dark interior (nice for sleeping) and being able to introduce some natural light would be great during the day when you don’t want the doors open (ie in the rain)Overall I really like this tent and look forward to taking it on my next trip.

Leaks…disappointed
This tent leaked from several places on my first trip out. One of our down quilt got trashed and we ended up sleeping in damp sleeping bags, making the whole trip absolutely miserable and dangerous. The photo above is our jacket after one or two minutes of being placed near one of the many leak points. This one is towards the sleeping section of the tent, where the half tent would be installed. When I contacted pomoly, they advised me to use some seam glue at the leak points. I ended up resealing all the guy-out points, all the toggle points, and re-taping some sections. At this point, I don’t feel comfortable taking this tent out unless I have a backup shelter. For my trouble, they offered a “partial-refund” of $31 which doesn’t even cover the cost of my repair.I do not recommend this tent. For the price, there are better options. Even my cheaper tents do better with water around seams than the pomoly. If you really must purchase this tent, then be sure to thoroughly re-seam, re-tape, and do a rain test at home before heading out.All in all, the tent failed and the customer service was below average.

Awesomeness
This is an amazing hot tent but it opens up real nicely. We use on the beach a lot, even when it’s hot.The company has phenomenal customer service and I would highly recommend this tent. It’s large enough for my entire family, 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Do it!

Love my new HEX Plus tent!
First off I bought my tent right from Pomoly's site, not through amazon, because I wanted the inner half tent for sleeping. It would be nice if they sold it here as well but I'm sure there's some reason they don't.I gave it 4 stars overall only because it lacks any kind of dedicated windows and I really like having that as an option. I haven't bought a wood stove for it yet so I've been using the flue(?) hole as a little window but it isn't the same. That's a personal preference however, so if you don't feel that's important to you then just treat it like a 5 star review. The tent overall is great! lightweight, seems durable, pretty easy to set up once you get the hang of it and very spacious for one or two people! I'm loving it so far although I've only used it briefly a couple times.Overall, I love my purchase and I'll be grabbing a wood stove and probably some other titanium camp accessories from Pomoly very soon!Tip- If you've never had a teepee tent before (like me) then setup can seem pretty tricky at first. I recommend you practice setting it up in the yard a few times to get the hang of it before taking it out for real. Also the inner half tent is really useful for lining up one side making it easier to keep everything even and in shape.

Best tipi-style winter tent!
Great tent all around! Good price. Impressive design allows you to manipulate air flow and heat inside the tent. Waterproof in very wet snow

NOT FIRE RETARDANT
AFTER MANY EMAILS TO POMOLY FINALLY THEY ADMITTED THAT THERE HOT TENTS ARE NOT FIRE RETARDANT. THE ONLY PART OF A POMOLY 300D OXFORD MATERIAL TENT IS THE STOVE JACK. THERE ARE NO ADVISORY LABELS ON THE TENTS AT ALL. FOR A HOT TENT SYSTEM THIS IS VERY CONCERNING. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING WOOD BURNERS IN THIS ETNT TYPE DUE TO ITS NON FIRE RETARDANT MATERIAL WHICH IS MADE IN CHINA.

These are overly complicated tents that make setting up camp miserable
I have the larger version I bought directly from their site when I couldn't find it here, I have been mountaineering and camping for forty years and these tents are just a mess to set up. There are tons of little things you have to get right for it to sit properly. We were on flat ground and it never sat right. I adjusted everything around and around. Then they wouldn't let us return it. DO NOT buy from this company.
