Badminton on Steroids!
If you like Badminton, you will LOVE Speedminton!This game is faster, the birdies are smaller, sleeker, stronger, and the racquets are better.I cannot tell you how many racquets we have gone through in the past year, so for us, this is much, much better.Smaller, stronger racquets are easier for little kids to hold as well - no blowing holes in these!Everything you need is in the bag - boundary markers, racquets, shuttle cocks. We ordered two, everyone loves them, we are ordering two more!Note - you WILL need more room, so if your backyard is small, this is not for you - these birdies fly fast and far!

Way better than I thought it would be
Pro:-rackets made better than I thought. Very well made. The rackets are a cross between a tennis racket and badminton racket.-Birdies are made well to. Read reviews that said birdies made poorly. Not so. They are made well. Played hard with them and they seem to last.-very fast and tiring game. So fast. Very fun.-birdies travel well even in breezy days. You can't play in windy days but can play in way more air movement then if your playing badminton.-very quick setup. No net required.- nice case everything fits in bag.Cons:-instructions are wanting. Check the web page for better instruction.Lots of fun. Good exercise. Can play in small areas and big areas. Surface can be almost anything you can run on. Almost any age can enjoy.

A Much Faster Game Than Badminton!
We received this set today. It was shipped quickly which we were very happy about as we got to play today itself (Fri) instead of waiting for the weekend to pass.The game, speedminton, is much faster than Badminton thanks to the weight of the "speeders" which are analogous to the birdies of Badminton. It took my spouse and me a few practice wacks to get used to the smash-to-speed of travel ratio of the birdies. And during the process, we had some good laughs seeing the glow-in-the-dark speeders zip around at night. Yes, you can play this game in the dark also thanks to those tiny 1.5" glow sticks.Speaking of which, these are mere mini glow sticks you may get for fishing as one of the reviewers pointed out. Which means you could get 'em cheap here on Amazon should you run out of them. Like 50 mini sticks for about ~$6.The rackets seem great quality stuff. I'm curious to see if they would work fine with Tennis. They don't come with a shock absorber plugged on the mesh so I'm guessing that may be slightly annoying. But looking forward to testing this out anyway.

Great for family fun
This is a great set for badminton style family fun. We have owned all kinds of badminton sets, but this one is my personal favorite. The large racket head allows a klutz like me to keep up with the rest of my family, since I play infrequently enough until the kids and wife drag me into playing. The quality of the construction has made these rackets outlast the usual poorly made ones that fall apart after family (ab)use. The accessories combine to make a great set.

This is our second purchased set! Kids LOVE IT.
We've owned many cheapo badminton sets over the years but the kids always manage to break them. That was until we bought this set. My 12 year old and her friends LOVE this speedminton set so we're buying another set so she can play with multiple friends at once. Very well made for the price and we use it with our regulation volleyball net set up in the front yard. Nice zippered storage bag. Highjly recommend. Bought the first set at DIcks Sporting Goods but this set on Amazon was a few dollars cheaper.

The material this thing was build with is great, and it looks very professorial for the price. This is for all ages thanks to the light weight of the rackets.

Good quality, great set.
I have now purchased this set twice because I was so happy with it. I was looking for quality badminton racquets on a tight budget. We only had some cheap "toy" racquets that the kids would break. This set is very sturdy, and have a nice shape. The little kids can handle them as well as the teens and adults. The birdies are also higher quality than most I have seen. I like the carrying case which encourages the kids to put everything back where it came from!Great, inexpensive family fun! I highly recommend it.

Fun and exciting!
We have found this set to be fun and exciting. I like it when playing in a 'speedminton' court, you can really whack at it while playing. The bridies fly fast from the start then slow nicely. My kids like to play on a badminton court with a net. Its a more precise game but fun none the less. We have found wind to be an issue, the o ring weight does provide margin assistance, but not enough to play in a moderate wind.I recommend this to anyone who like racket sports but not the chase of a ball.
