I bought this for my great-niece since her dad is a guitar player. It was all I could have asked for and more! Great quality and price for how large it is.

My baby loves this. He has always shown an interest in music even in the womb. This was one of his first and best toys. It’s very soft so I felt comfortable with him having this early. Even when he could not actively play with this he still loved hearing the music and watching the lights. When he first started to play with it himself he did not have the strength and coordination to bang the drum (about a month old) so he like to feel the material while listening and watching. He was very excited when he was first able to activate the drum himself (around two months and only very light touch needed) and now he happily bangs away (3 months). I’m sure this is a toy that will remain a favorite for quiete a while. The only thing I would change is to add a volume button but I still love this drum.

Gift for a 7 month old boy. Michael loved the drum and he returned time and again to the drum during the opening of other gifts. It has great music and lights to attract an infant who is learning. He immediately learned to bang on the drum even rolled around on the floor clutching it. Super great gift for a small child, safe, colorful and interactive.

Your baby will love the drum and the music it plays. All they have to do is hit it on the top and the music will play.. Just leave it on the floor or in the kiddie corral and you will se how much they love it.

I bought this toy in October for a Christmas gift. When it was opened on Christmas it wouldn’t work. We opened the battery compartment the batteries were totally corroded. Even after removing the batteries and cleaning the unit it still wouldn’t work. I can’t return it because it’s outside the return window

Like many of the other reviewers here, my toy drum arrived with the batteries corroded and the product not working. I was prepared to send it back because I thought it would not work at all given the corrosion, but I was able to replace the batteries and it works fine. It’s very cute — I got it for my baby for Christmas. We already have a two year old so we have pretty much every toy you could think of for a baby, so this was something unique that he did not have. I like it, I just wish that the company would either not send it with batteries or invest better batteries because obviously there’s a problem.

This is so soft and fun! Our baby (7.5M) gets a kick out of hitting it and hearing the tunes. The songs are quite jaunty and we actually enjoy them and they haven't yet outworn their welcome.Update: Baby is 10.5 months now and still enjoys playing with this!

I got the drum. It looks great, works as intended. Just a little nudge will sound and my baby love it. Yet, the issue is the condition when it is shipped, not in terms of the the plushie bit, is the electronic bit. When it arrives, even there’s a plastic tag to avoid battery contact, it didn’t sit properly and the switch is in the “ON” position. Thus, it still have contact and activated. So, by the time i got the product, it maybe already sit in warehouse for a long time, the battery already leaked and white powder already in the battery compartment. I returned my first one, get another one, both are the same. The difference is I managed to clean up the 2nd one with vinegar and get it work with new batteries because is not as bad as the first one. Honestly, I think if the switch have a better design that not as easy to switch, and ensure is in the “off” position, this will not happen. Watch out when receiving it, double check the batteries before given to your baby, the white powder is not good for humans and babies.

The sound/lights did not work on arrival. Opened the battery case and one of the AAAs that ship with the toy had leaked. I was able to clean it up and replace the batteries to get it working. If the leak had been worse, it might not have been salvageable. Be aware of this possibility and replace the batteries before giving it to your child.
