5 stars (because it's so fun and durable) despite a few flaws
The Granite is so fun, fast, and durable. Easy to work on and replace parts. There are a few weak spots but it's so fun to drive that I can't fault it too much. Good job Arrma. Having said that, please give the new Granite a spoiler! We have to retrofit spoilers and cut the body in order to save the rear of the body from getting destroyed every time it lands upside down. The bodies are very thin and weak too, so you have to reinforce it unless you want to spend $40 every month on a new body. The plastic driveshafts break often. And the plastic tie rods get loose really quick and make handling sloppy. The motor and ESC are super solid. The servo is pretty weak so I replaced that right away. Otherwise, amazing truck.

Great rc car
Really really fun entry level car!!! Well priced, works perfectly and ready to go out of the box. Just grab an extra battery pack or three.

Awesome Power and Perfect Speed
This is my first real RC truck. I was a little apprehensive about going straight to a fast brushless truck. But reviews I read said that the brushless trucks are going to have tougher parts on them to handle the speed. I have been running 2s Lipos in it and it is plenty fast. I started on 50 percent throttle and that lasted about 5 seconds till I switched in to 100 percent. The truck is very stable and controllable. I've been using it in my smaller front yard, but I'm sure when the snow melts, I can run 3s batteries in the back yard with no problem. It seems pretty solid, but it is not meant to crash into things at speed. I tumbled it pretty good though and it seems unfazed. UPDATE: This thing is a beast. I've driven this thing very hard. I've landed wheels up, done more cartwheels than I can count, and other than the body getting beat up a bit, it hasn't broken a thing. Except for catching a tire on a pole at full speed, and busting an arm, a shock, and steering linkage, but the parts were readily available and nothing expensive broke. I had it going in a couple of days. I would get the wide arms kit; it makes the truck way more stable.

Fast, fun, durable, and a good value
This was my first Arrma RC and I am happy with it. It is fast and fun to drive. The short wheelbase makes the vehicle very lively and easy to correct in the air. It is easy to do wheelies and backflips on 3S. It is also fun to drive on 2S, but not as easy to flip. The durability has been great. I’ve had some back wrecks with it and haven’t broke any parts yet. The body is getting pretty thrashed, but it is still holding together. One weak spot is that vehicle comes with plastic pivot balls and I highly recommend upgrading them to metal. I wore out the plastic ones after about 10 battery packs and the front end/steering became very loose. You can get a metal pivot ball kit for around $15 and it makes the vehicle much tighter and tougher. I would do this upgrade right out of the box. Other than that, I think this vehicle is a great value and is a tough basher.

ARRMA = UNDESTRUCTABLE
Probably one of the toughest RC brands around right now. My husband punishes his (built) 8s Kraton so we figured we'd buy our youngest son an Arrma since he kept breaking his emaxx. Best buy ever! Great little stock truck, more than enough power for a child, keeps him busy for hours, takes a beating like no other whether it be banging into things, doing cartwheels from the ramps or what have you....these things are BEASTS! Lots of fun for adults as well! Amazing quality for the price. Super happy with our purchase. We'll keep buying Arrma's as long as the quality and durability stays the same.

Great Basher RC
If you are new to the hobby and looking for a good basher RC, this is the vehicle to go with. You may be deciding between the cheaper mega brushed version and this, but unless you know for certain the slower speed is all you need, do yourself a service and get this one. If you buy the mega version, you will most likely want to upgrade it down the line to brushless. This WILL cost you more than just getting the BLX version now if you try to get it up to similar specs. *Very durable *Fast (50 mph on 3s) *Decent part support (yes, you will break something and need a replacement which is part of the hobby) *Great value *Will outperform “Toy” grade RC cars by a huge margin If you’re looking for a RC just to race around in the backyard with limited space, this may not be the best choice. It’s big, it’s fast, and you really need some space to fully enjoy it. Looking for something a bit smaller that’s hobby grade? Check out the Letrax Teton. I own both, and use that one when I’m too lazy to go anywhere but the backyard.

Great power very fast and tuff RC. -the tires..
The power is out standing on a 3s li-po but the only thing is the tires explode when doing back flips on 100% power. It is way fast enough at 75% with 3s so if bashing with flips be careful of the exploding tires. Otherwise it takes a beating it's a wheelie riding back flipping water skimming fun RC truck in a skate park or just running it down the street. And I did clock it at 51 with 5000ma 80c 3s li-po right out the box with just a little tweaking of the front tyrode ends to make it drive straighter. Great for bashing or a good race with some friends. I hope this helps enjoy it's worth it. ✌️ ( This is a update after about 40 runs the back differential started clicking so I tore it down and what I found was not what I expected. The differentials are plastic. 🤨 I knew the sper gear was plastic but to make the diffs out of plastic is just cheap. The housing can be plastic but the gears for drive need to be steel. Come on Arrma. the up grades for each diff is about $40 each..) other wise a great little truck. ✌️ One more update, I have changed to full metal gear in the back and in the front I just put metal gear input and left the plastic diff. This looks like it is holding up great. If you get this truck I think it is best to install metal gear input gears i think the diffs will hold up as they are but the plastic inputs get hot and melt. Metal gear input on plastic diff appear to not have this problem... And one other thing I did is drill a small hole on top the diff case in which I put a short screw so as not to hit anything in the diff. This screw can be tuck out to put grease in the diff every so often. I don't like to tear down every time I want to grease it. This is still a great RC and now they are a bit cheaper than when I got mine.. Hope this helps. Have a great day. And happy RC-ing. ✌️😁🤙 July 2025 up date. The metal input gear to plastic diff in front is still holding strong and the all metal back input/diff are going like new. The only upgrades I have done besides destroying a few body shells.. it's a beast at the skate park.. hope this helps. ✌️

This thing RIPS!!!
This thing is not a toy......, it's a WEAPON!! Right out of the box this truck is ridiculously fast! Any throttle input more than 50% results in it standing up on its wheelie bars and screaming outta' sight. Be careful where you point it when you squeeze the trigger, you can do some serious damage not only to the truck itself, but to anything in its path. Seriously, you could literally kill someone with this if you hit them at speed. It weighs enough and goes fast enough to cause $1000's of dollars worth of damage to property or persons. Great truck for the money, can take a beating as well as give one!

Resiste y mucho

All smiles!!
Truck is tones of fun, quite a bit faster then I had anticipated. More then enough for me! Had to adjust slipper clutch a few times, other then that worked flawlessly. Truck has wide tack kit, 14-17mm hex adapters with 10mm offset &1/8th tires and wheels.

Ce Granite est tout simplement indestructible

Bomb proof.
I went full Kevin Talbot on this thing. Full power landing. Double backflips. Jumped into a concrete building. Went through 3 3s lipos. Still good. 2hour straight beating. Very impressive. Everything will break eventually. It took everything I could think of.

Fast!!! Awesome truck
Gave my daughter my older smaller truck. So bought this to spend time with her. This thing is a beast. Running 3s lipos. The 3 speed modes are a great feature. I can turn it down and my daughter can run it. Upgraded steer servo Way more responsive. Likes to roll in turns. So widened stance with typon A arms. After lots of bashing. Body is completely smashed. Will do spoiler upgrade before putting new body on. Only part that broke was the front hub so far Only $5 part. Am considering buying another one This winter put proline paddle tires on. It flys across the snow!!
