I like that the barb snaps don't hang up on the other connector. That is the one problem with "other" connectors - the barb snap does not let go. I use these to replace those bad connectors. I also make my own "extension" cables for a custom fit. Between bad connectors and new cables - I may need some more. (One tip - the small tip connector, with the O-ring, needs help. The metal insert must be pushed in to 1/8 inch to the end of the plastic and the wire you use will not be stiff enough to push. Use a small Allen wrench to push on the insert to snap it in place.)

I purchased three solar panels for a travel trailer solar setup. It’s taken me a few years to finally getting them up on the travel trailer and I needed something solid to mount my panels. I have three Grape Solar 100w panels and these fir beautifully. About to install them today so I can’t speak of longevity, but the brackets are smooth and no burrs or sharp edges. Hardware was also included but I did buy better washers at a local hardware store.

Recent purchase of panels did not include any accessories. These were purchased to complete an augmentation of a solar/wind battery powered emergency backup system

I've used these for 4, 100 watt panels. It would be nice if they were just a little bit longer, but I did manage to get them all connected. They worked just as they are supposed to and were easy to use.

The unlocking prongs were too tight, It was hard to use the tool to unlock the MC-4 connectors. The rest of the tool for making the connectors tight was v-good for the money. it was a ok deal for the money.

My first mc4. Seem ok. The plastic tabs are a bit hard to disengage compared to the factory connectors on my panels.

MC4 connectors worked great to make extension cables using 10 awg wire for my solar panels. Seem similar and connect well with other brand MC4s.
