UCO Stormproof Match Kit with Waterproof Case, 25 Stormproof Matches and 3 Strikers - Orange(2-Pack)

Keep these in my riding backpack. I do a lot of backcountry snowmobiling and these come well packed and stay dry in the waterproof case. Always great to have in case of an overnight stay outdoors. Small and compact. Recommend.

I bought these to have as backup stock for emergency and camping kits, as I already own a UCO match case. What arrived from Amazon when I ordered this two pack was a clear imitation and was not the UCO matches or case as advertised (See picture for comparison to actual UCO match case). The ones shipped featured flimsy strike faces, shorter, smaller matches, and a case with no o-ring, or screw lock to weatherproof it. The lid simply slides on and off and offers no weatherproofing at all. I will be returning these and I advise no one else purchases from this seller for these goods either as they have proven to be deceitful and try to pass off cheap imitations for what product they advertise online.UPDATE: I reached out to the seller and they stated the ones they shipped are their own brand, though they also ship UCO matches as well. While I think it’s misleading for them to advertise a certain brand and ship a product lacking in many aspects to the one advertised, I will say their customer support was amazing. They issued me a refund and stated they’ll be shipping me the UCO brand matches in a short time, I’ll update this review again when I receive the new matches.EDIT 2: The properly branded and much higher quality UCO matches arrived. Happy with the outcome and professional customer service, though I am disappointed in the lack of transparency with the product they initially shipped

Best ever. Work as advertised.

The container has no O ring gasket as pictured on the product description. It only has a slip on top. It is in no way water tight. The matches are not genuine UCO. The match stem is less than a half inch long. There is no way to effectively use this product as designed without having to toss it away as it burns or risk scorching your fingers. Only 1 in 5 of the ones I received would actually light due to already being compromised by absorbing humidity from the air. I would not trust these matches in an emergency situation. They are a poor imitation and you would do well to avoid them at all cost.

These are what we’re to be expected. Work great. Good item to have on hand. Priced good to compare with other sellers.

These matches are exactly what we are looking for but a little pricey.On that note I tried to go cheeperAnd they did not get quality correct.So this is the best product
