Arrived in the blink of an eye: ordered late Sunday night, arrived here in a remote part of the North West Highlands on Tuesday.The masks arrived in a strong, sealed and re-sealable, plastic bag which is strong enough to carry the masks around in a bag or pocket when out of the house.The masks are a perfect size for a woman’s or teenage-girl’s face, with proper shaping via an insert that fits securely under the chin. There is a nose strip to mould more firmly around the nose, but I found I didn’t really need it. (I suppose it depends on face/nose shape.)The outer layer is two-ply, but there is a large, third, inner layer, which fully covers the nose and mouth which is also made to take a disposable filter, making the mask essentially 4-ply if used that way. However — depending on context and how crowded/infected the area of use might be —I think many people might regard the three layers as enough and an additional filter not needed.The fabric itself is very pretty, and all layers are good-quality 100% cotton as recommended by the WHO. The edges around the face are fully-bound in self-fabric biased tape, which indicates the quality of the construction. The cotton, being new, will of course soften in use (all cotton fabric initially comes with ‘fillers’ that slightly stiffen it but which rub or wash out) but the weave of both inner and outer layer is denser than some fabric and so very suitable for the important task it has to do. (Some cheaper masks are clearly of much lower quality and thinner, more open weave, and in my view are of rather dubious value as either self-protection or the protection of others.) The thick ear loops are comfortable and come with a tensioned adjuster so the length and fit can be altered to suit.Altogether I am very pleased indeed with these masks and glad I decided to spend just a little bit more to get products that are both attractive and really fit for purpose. I will certainly repeat purchase — if my health ever allows me to go outside again🙁. But if I do I know I will feel both comfortable and safe in these masks 😀.Overall I’m glad I didn’t opt for any of the vast number, it seems, of cheaper, lower-quality masks available all over.For the sake of a couple of extra quid I see no point in taking the risk of buying a product that, while it might allow the conformity with the law, might be of only dubious practical benefit to the wearer — and everyone else.

I bought the Pastel Haze colour masks which are great and will go with whatever I wear.They looked a bit small when I first took them out of the packet but once on they fit really well.I like the fact it is shaped to fit well under the chin and has elastic for around the ears that can be altered to how you need it to fit.Doesn't steam my glasses up which is a bonus. Recommend 5*

The masks are beautifully made with good quality cotton. They fit all 4 family members from a 17 year old boy with a very narrow face, a 14 year old, adult female average face size to my DHs much larger face. I have made some masks myself and needed to make four different sizes for them to fit. In particular my DHs ears have a larger base which I found difficult to get a fit for. There is no gaping for any of us and the mask is comfy. I would recomend using a filter material to get effective protection.

Not impressed. The mask is very small - almost child size and doesn’t fit me (adult female) - I see it came from China so may be designed for delicate Chinese features. Also it is too small to take the standard filters that are supposed to fit it.

I bought these because it said 100% cotton and it was a U.K. seller.They are not 100% cotton - part polyester so not as breathable - it even says so on the label.U.K. seller who probably buys them from Asia as they are very small compared to U.K. made ones.I will keep them for the grandchildren as the colours and workmanship aren’t bad.They do not fit the Amazon description so very disappointed though.

We have all suddenly had to become experts in face masks over the past year or so! These masks are recommended, and we have been very happy with them. They accept a disposable paper type filter which are easy to obtain for better protection as well. We have washed the masks multiple times (in the washing machine, not hand washed) and they still look very good indeed. Excellent value for money and would buy again although no sign we will need to at present as they are holding up really well despite the reasonable price! (Bought some similar ones of different colours at same time and equally impressed as well)

I found the masks too small with not enough depth between the nose and the chin, so they either ride up or down. Either way they are not comfortable in use and quickly become non-compliant when they slide down below the nose. They were returned and a refund obtained.

These arrived on 1 day delivery as stated. At first i thought they wern't 3 ply as described but on closer examination I found they are. I love that the ear loops are adjustable, and this blue pattern is so pretty, am going to order another pack - it seems one just cant have too many face coverings these days!
