I would have given this product 5stars but it’s not as leak proof as they claim. I would now only trust to place only solid food items in it. I packed some apple sauce in it on day 1 and it leaked into the other food compartments, then I tried packing my daughter some left over spaghetti and meat sauce on day 2 and that spilled over into her other foods I packed with it. My child has a small bag pack so I was looking for a compact lunch container for her to take to school that was leak proof. The size was great but the first day she took it to school it leaked in her bag pack so I was very disappointed. And I made sure it was sealed completely. But from now only I’ll only use it to pack dry foods only for her, very disappointed.

This box is awesome. I use it for my daughters school lunches and she loves she can separate her food in one container. Fits perfectly in her lunch box. No issue with leaking. Definitely better than the last brand I bought for her.

I saw so mixed reviews, but decided to order anyway. I actually love all of the ones I purchased. I ordered the purple and green set and the pink one. I did the leak test on all of them, and the only one that leaks is the pink one. The purple and green are 100% worth the money, but if you decide to get the pink, do not put liquids in it without doing a leak test first.

I've been using these for about 3 weeks for my 6, 8, and 9 year old. No problem opening, and no spills. The first time I opened they were tight, but my kids haven't had a problem

Definitely worth the money. I use for work everyday now. It's a little small for an adult lunch portions but I use it to just hold breakfast and snacks. It really is leak proof which I greatly appreciated. The other part of this product that I love is the rubber seal around each individual section. I have some sensory issues, so I hate regular divided containers because the smells and taste mix. This allows everything to be separate. Note: If you put it in the dishwasher make sure the lid is flat. One of my lids warped a little but I totally think it was a user error on my part.

Got about a year out of this before it started leaking. Always hand washed, never let it sit in the sink, so not sure how it got warped enough to leak but alas... Now I have to put it in a bag or just stick to solid foods without sauce. :(

Especially since a lot of the other reviews here are either "love it" or "hate it". I was most concerned about this bento box being truly dishwasher-safe, as someone reported water managing to get between the white layer and the black layer when they tried to wash theirs. Can happily report that after several washes (mostly by hand in a sink, and a few in the dishwasher) I haven't encountered any problems! :D Good proportion sizes, no leaks, and comes with a nice carry bag.

I really really wanted to like these Kinsho bento boxes. Not sure how anyone is writing that these are leak proof. We've had these for a few weeks now and only ever cleaned them by hand and the lids DO NOT CLOSE properly and leak all the time—even when closing them from the centre out first. I wouldn't trust this to more than a dry sandwich and cut up veggies or a salad with no dressing. Utterly disappointed in this—unless my wife and I just got a horrible batch of two of them.... If that's the case and others are good, then there's a massive quality control issue. Don't waste your money. We'll also be returning these.

This is the absolute perfect container for taking lunches anywhere! I loved using this bento box for taking my lunch to work (pre COVID-19) because I could take soups or pastas with other snacks and not worry about leakage. Great desig , love the colour and the slim profile. Hopefully I will have an occasion to take my lunch with me in the future and I can bring this lil guy out of the cupboard once again.

I have gone through a few bento boxes looking for the right one to store snacks in. I love my cheese, meat and veggie trays! They keep very well and I can put all in one (or both) containers! Great for road trips, day trips to the beach, or even just have ready for around the house. Seals between compartments so no leaks even inside!

The media could not be loaded.  First thought it was a good purchase as its air tight and no leak. However after just 2 months use , I am very disappointed. The boxes get mouldy on the cover rubber. I washed right after school everyday and open to dry it completely. The box itself has no issue. Though after a 2 week term break ( without using it) , when I open, it has a bit of plastic smell. Not recommended.
