Updated: 8/9/23 Prominence finally followed up with us and is honoring the waranty and replacing the ceiling fan that is not working, that is under warranty.We had been very happy with these and have purchased a total of 7 so far. However, the last 4 were for our brand new house. One of the fans is not working properly, purchased fans in February, and moved in to new house on July 1st, and we have reached out to Prominence to honor their warrantry and they have not responded back... dissapointed because overall we had been very happy with these fans, lemons happen, but when the company doesn't honor it's own warranty... it's time to find another company for ceiling fans...

I've installed 3 other ceiling fans (Kensgrove 72", Hunter 52") in the past month before trying this brand out. I found the instructions a bit lacking as compared to the other two brands. Upon closer inspection, the quality of the parts are also a little less as you can see mild cosmetic defects and does feel a little cheaper but you get what you pay for I guess. After installation, the fan does look good from afar and you can't tell. However, once turned on, there is a humming noise that's loudest at the max speed and still noticeable at the medium speed. I wouldn't get this fan again if I had the choice as it's kinda annoying and should have stuck to Hunter.

So far so good. Give it a year and I may hate it, but right now one of the best fans I have ever owned. Very quiet, and moves the air so well that I usually leave it on medium. I admit that I oversized it for the room I put it in.

I bought 3 of these fans and love them. They look great and the lights are bright.

It a little more than an easy installation but definitely not difficult. Looks good after setup. The glass is very dirty you need to wash before installation. Gives off plenty of light and moves along of air

Seems to be high quality and than run very quite and is balanced no shaking no rattles they are great so far use for several months now with no issues at all

Fairly easy to install. Works great! Fan is awesome! Not noisy or unbalanced. I want to buy more to replace other fans in my house.

I was a lil hesitant, however... This fan is wonderful! My husband set the fan in less than hour. The light is bright and I love bright lightening in the bedroom.

Replacing a fan I bought here( a brand you would recognize) a year ago which started making noise like frozen rain or hail on a window non stop. Also , the motor really hummed on the higher speeds which we did not use. I received the box which was a bit wonky and refurbished or returned popped in my head. I opened it up and things looked normal so I went a head with the install. I was also pleasantly surprised that I could flush mount( 15 inches from ceiling to tip of glass light cover).This was just another routine ceiling fan install. It also comes with a holding cable which seems more of use when you use the extension.The fan blades require screws and washers as opposed to the butterfly quick twist on. This is not a problem and I actually prefer this method even though it takes another 5 mins of your time.Tip- my screw drivers are not magnetized and even if they were, I recommend painters tape on the motor housing( ceiling side up) to cover the holes. If and when the mounting screw drops it will NOT go into the motor housing . It will fall down on the floor , saving your household from the barrage of swear words that would make a sailor cry. Outside of that irritation everything was fine. We jumped from a 44 to a 52 and it is hardly noticeable looking at it. It has 3 settings and a summer/winter switch.It was up. Turned on the power and went through the speeds. This thing is quiet , made me very happy as it is in the bedroom. It is also very bright as it does NOT use candelabra style lights.So that is it. If anything goes wanky , I will update. As of right now, I can recommend this ceiling fan.

This fan is sooooo beautiful! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. The blades are wide so it really pushes the air which is what all fans should do.
