Brilliant speaker for the price! Perfect for home use.
I have used several Bluetooth speakers so far and this hands down is the best value for sound quality. It sounds big, open and rich. The bass is a little boomy but it doesn't overpower the mids and treble. Most importantly the sound is very clean. In the past I've used UE Megaboom 3, Denon Envaya Mini, UE Wonderboom so far and this speaker blows all of them away. The sound is enough to fill up a large room. The Envaya Mini probably sounds cleaner but it is a much smaller portable speaker so it's just not powerful enough.Other things? The build quality is high. It's not exceptional as the buttons feel OK but it's great for the price. I like that there is an AUX IN but I haven't used it yet.The speaker is heavy at 3kg but it's perfect for home use and maybe to carry in a car.It has a battery but the backup is 3-4 at moderate to high volume. You may be able to get the claimed 8 hours if you listen at 20% volume but that's impractical. The sound changes drastically when you disconnect the charger so I keep it mostly plugged in. The overall sound power drops by around 30% when you take it off the mains charger. The charger is traditional brick style so it's irritating to keep it on a small desk. Finally the Onyx 6 is IP X7 waterproof but I don't plan on taking it outside the house anyways. There is no APP of any kind. I got spoiler with the UE Megaboom which has great app functionality. I just keep the speaker on Max Volume and control the sound using the mobile volume control.Seriously, for 12K with discounts this speaker is 100% value for money. Perfect, consumer-centric sound, great build quality and decent features set.

Punchy bass with good quality audio
I am happy as i am the first one to review this product. Bought it on same day it launched in india via amazon.. and got it prime day offer price of 13499. ( hdfc bank offer )Sound quality as expected very good... not better than bose sound touch 20 or 30.. but its comparable to that.Good base, good vocal, need improvement for trouble.I am using it with my samsung qled tv via bluetooth, no delay in voice... very good experience, feel like a hometheater sound.. you have to place it properly otherwise sometimes you may feel the lack of stereo.Battery backup is ok.. not that great but its ok for this size speaker with this low pricePower of sound will be better once u connected with power supplyPros:Low priceGood sound quality, no distortionClear vocalsPremium feel and harman brandPunchy basWaterproofCon:( its ok for this price )Need more battery backupRequired Additional one tweeter for higher frequencyNot stereo.

Very deep bass, with loud and accurate sound.
I got 5 hours of battery life at 100% volume. I generally use it with my smart TV via bluetooth with AC power connected, to produce better sound and volume. The sound stage is unidirectional, so you can get best effects if you are facing it directly. It can get pretty loud at 80db and may disturb your neighbours. The product can be a good substitute for your home theatre. The single tweeter does a brilliant job a producing clear vocals and mids. The woofer driver produces very deep and soothing bass. Overall the sound is pretty accurate and soothing. The bass could have been a bit punchier to replace traditional subwoofer units of home theatre systems. The bass becomes heart-thumping at 70% volume, below that its there but not as punchy as dedicated sub-woofer units.Overall its a great purchase.

One of the best sounding speaker under 15k!!
If you're in the market for portable Bluetooth Speakers under 15k. This is the best speaker you can buy.The bass is amazing the mids are great and the treble is decent. This is roughly as loud as the Xtreme 2 but the Onyx has more Bass. (Heard both of them side by side)Keep in Mind, despite being Bass emphasised, this speaker doesn't sound Muddy like many expect it to be.The mids and treble are still crystal clear. This speaker is best for you if you prefer listening to genres like EDM, Dance, R&B & Hip-Hop.The Bass is Punchy (Thump Bass) such that you can feel the thump of the beats and still hear the mids and treble.Like I said earlier, the Bass is rich and not muddy. And the MOST IMPORTANT THING - This speaker will impress you much more when you plug it to the AC Adapter, as Harman states that it outputs 50 Watts only when it is plugged in. The speaker sounds louder and the mids and treble increase drastically. And you can always use it plugged in, The charging stops completely when the battery is charged fully. In my case, I prefer listening while it is plugged in.

Good, but not Harmon Kardon good!
Note - There was a delay in video/audio. I reset the speaker (by holding down the Bluetooth symbol and the + until it turns off). This solved the issue.I have varied experience with a lot of speakers and earphones and brands and would recommend this product, based on the value proposition.Should you buy it? Yes, definitely if your budget is max ~15k for quality. Not someone who just need boom boom loud musical junk box. It's good, but not Harmon Kardon good!1. Good enough bass, which I felt at times was overpowering other tones2. Please remember it's portable Bluetooth and when comparing, keep the comparison of an item of similar intent and capacity.3. Amazing form factor, and price to quality ratio.Ancillary point - I received an unsealed box but had all the contentsWill update long term review, after a couple of months.P.S. People comparing JBL, H/K, Infinity, calling either junk. Do remember, these are all owned by Harman. And Harman is now owned by Samsung!
