fixed what Nikwax screwed up
I bought this after washing my MountainHardwear down coat with Nikwax. Nikwax poured out as both a liquid and precipitated solids (yes I shook the bottle beforehand), and because I had already applied it to the coat, I had to continue the washing process. Nikwax clumped the down and the coat never had any loft again. This was despite multiple rinses in a clean homedepot bucket and cold air tumbling in my dryer with tennis balls and an old towel to help the drying process. I used this Gear Aid cleaner and after one use, my coat is back to normal. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Thirty two year-old down sleeping bag looks/feels like new after first use of product
This morning I washed the bag in the bathtub, rinsed it 4-5 times in the tub, ran bag in drain/spin washer cycle of top-loading washer, then dried it in the dryer (regularly removing it and shaking it up to separate the down). No product odor and the down is fluffier than it's been since the early years. The bag was last washed around three years ago, using different product. Odor from that product lingered a long time (unpleasant) and the down didn't fluff as today (but the latter could have been my fault).Revivex exceeded my expectations.

Works great!!
I bought this down cleaner to use on my old Gerry down sleeping bag.It did such a great job cleaning it!I don't know how long it had been since it was last cleaned, but after cleaning it I could see the difference, it went from a dingy orange color to a clean bright orange. I threw in the stuff sack too, I thought it was a dark green, boy was I wrong it was a scrub green! It did a great job cleaning it, and it brought back the loft in the down.Glad I found this stuff, and that I could use it on this bag that was my Father's, and now mine!I plan on also using this for my down jackets as well, but my pain reason for buying was for the sleeping bag.

Military sleeping bag like new
Used this today in a laundromat and put my Army issue extreme cold weather sleeping bag in a large washer and went by the label and added 4 caps of the soap and I thought this won’t suds up, shoot it was really sudsy and rinsed out nice. Tossed it in a big dryer with 4 tennis balls and the bag got some color back and is nice and fluffy. Just follow the label instructions and it works great, I spilled some trying to fill the cap but it’s nice to be able to measure it from a pouch cap. Awesome and I still got a lot left for next time. There is no scent so it doesn’t smell all fresh and stuff but you know it’s clean.

BRING DOWN JACKETS BACK TO LIFE!!!
I have been an avid user of NikWax products for many years, and have been completely satisfied.I tried this as an alternative to rejuvenate several down jackets that had lost much of their loft. I was pleased with how great this works! My jackets look, smell and feel like brand new again. The key is to run a rinse cycle 2x, and use clean tennis balls on medium heat to dry the jackets, stopping 1/2 way through the pull apart any clumping in the down clusters. From a cost comparison, this is a great value with solid end results. Highly recommended from a serious outdoor enthusiast who takes great pride in my outdoor equipment.

Works great
No complaints. I was wary because I'd never washed down items before, despite growing up with down comforters and pillows, but this did a great job on a comforter, multiple Patagonia and Columbia down jackets, and some pillows. If you're new to washing down, be sure to dry your items VERY WELL before making any judgement about how clean they are; down holds onto a lot of dampness and can smell like "wet dog" unless thoroughly dried. We dry our pillows and jackets for well over an hour on low or no heat, with tennis balls or wool dryer balls.

Successful wash of down jacket
I was scared to wash a down jacket I bought around a year ago.. despite it desperately needing a wash. I followed the online instructions with this product, and all the very precise things you need to do to try it successfully, and I'm happy to report a positive result. Don't be surprised that the drying process is a major pain, but at least the wash was simple, and this solution did a great job of cleaning off a years worth of ski gunk.

Removed all the oil!!!
Gross alert! I have long hair that becomes oily less than 24 hours after washing, which does a number on the top of my nice REI down bag. When camping, my hair gets thrown in a bun and might go a week without washing depending on where I am, and a liner (shout out to Cocoon liners!) can only protect the top of the bag so much. Long story short, after a few camping seasons the oil from my hair had literally soaked through the top edge of my sleeping bag and made it look wet. Disgusting. I was really skeptical this would remove the oil, but boy did it! Washing the bag was a chore (washed by hand in my tub), but I used the instruction on the Down Cleaner in addition to the tips from REI and it came out SO clean! No more oil! Plus, it even restored some of the loft! My sleeping bag literally looks brand new. Fives stars, hands down!

Great Down Cleaner but you need to be patient to get the result
I have never cleaned down jackets at home & this was my first attempt. I was not sure of how to use the product but little searching helped. after the first wash & subsequent drying with 3 tennis balls - The result was very demoralizing & frustrating!! I kind of thought my down jacket is gone & I'll not be able to use it anymore!! But I did not lose complete hope & searched for any helpful input online. I found some tips which were very helpful. The jacket was not dry after initial recommended drying. I let it air dry overnight & then again put it in the dryer with 3 tennis balls. This time when it came out it was well dry & fluffy and I got my Down Jacket back!! I washed a few more after and followed the same procedure, air dry overnight after the initial machine dry. then again put it in the dryer with tennis balls (i used three, came in a single pack) - result was great every time. This is a much-recommended product but you need to have patient to get the benefits!! It may need more time to dry that projected on the package instructions.

Buen producto, tapa inservible

WOW It Actually Works!
I bought this just to give it a try for my down comforter which starts to smell. To my surprise, the comforter came out of the dryer fluffy and with no chunks. I didn't even put in the tennis balls or dryer balls. This is a legit product. I instantly ordered more for my other down products. Thanks for making this amazing cleaner!

Adds loft to down.
Like the product. It definitely adds loft to my down jacket and sleeping bag. Still have lots left. It is fragrance free so sleeping bag still not as fresh smelling as I was hoping. But it did make the the outside clean. May try washing again. Would purchase again.

Works well on real down
Washed a north face jacket with this and it cleaned well but down will clump up. Put jacket in dryer on low heat with 2 tennis balls to get the down back to normal.
